Dirty and Nasty room. Smelled terrible, sheets stained, several lights in the room were out. Pee in the toilet from either housekeeping or previous guest. The front desk lady was very nice made checking in really easy but boy when I got in the room I wanted to just go sleep in the truck. So gross!!!

Due to storm damage I had to seek refuge for nearly a month at Best Western Lone Star Inn. Everyone went out of their way to make sure my every need was met. I felt like I was among friends and family

Normally we would stay on familys property. But because this was a family event accommodations were needed. Hotel was an ideal location and distance. Not too far from family - took us only 19 mins to get there. Safe and clean location with friendly staff. Convenience store and 2 fast food restaurants nearby in walking distance.

The staff went above & beyond to help me with internet issues I was having. Because of their willingness to help me out, I was able to attend a Zoom meeting that otherwise I would have had to miss. I highly recommend this hotel and we will stay here again if we're in the area!

This hotel has been recently renovated. The facility was very nice and easy to access from the highway. Very Clean. Breakfast was sufficient. The staff as well as the owner was super friendly. One of the better Best Western we have stayed in.

I was concerned about the reviews I read but went there anyway. It’s nothing like what is described in the older review. I was told ownership changed in December. That might be it. Hotel and rooms are clean and smell fresh. Amenities are clean, breakfast is humble but honest and will fill you up as a business traveler. Rooms have fridge, microwave and good coffee makers and coffee. The A/C works really well. Staff is friendly and efficient. The pool should be shut down until it’s repaired and cleaned up, I wouldn’t go in it as it is. They recommended good places to eat and I was happy with that. To sum it up, a fresh and clean stay at a good price in the middle of nowhere.

Super clean room! Staff friendly. Welcoming with our pet. Breakfast was great! Misplaced our room keys and front desk was more than happy to issue us new keys. My husband forgot his razor. Went to front desk to ask if they had any disposable ones and they gave me 2!!

Stayed here with a buddy while fishing Matagorda area. Fantastic fishing and was well taken care of at the Lone Star. Rooms were clean and in good repair. Great lighting. I even had a nice view of a field with freshly baled hay. Georgia was a fantastic employee, always friendly and helpful, and seemed to be always there! Hardest worker in the Lone Star State.

We enjoyed our stay. It was clean and most importantly everyone was very nice and accommodating. Highly recommend staying here, and I know we will again! The breakfast was excellent. We especially enjoyed our time in the pool.
