A lovely premier inn, clean and tidy, really friendly staff and a perfect location for our weekend in Edinburgh! Also attached to a wonderful Greene King , the Cuddie Brae, which was much more affordable than pubs closer to the city centre despite being very close!

Great hotel, service and breakfast. Breakfast at this hotel is within the hotel and not the restaurant next door. I always find the breakfast so much better when provided within the hotel. Will definitely be back. Also, only a few minutes away from a retail park with plenty of food places and shops too.

We stayed at Premier Inn from Friday to Sunday but loved it so much that we ended up booking an extra night! The location was perfect, and everything about our stay was just spot on. The beds were incredibly comfy, the rooms were spotless, and the breakfast was delicious—exactly what you need to start the day. A huge thank you to the lovely ladies in the breakfast lounge, who couldn’t do enough for us, and a special mention to Wendy on reception. She was so helpful and friendly, making us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. We’ll definitely be coming back this year for another long weekend stay. Hotel is usual high premier in standard. Great easy to find location. Walking distance to Fort Kinnaird Retail Park just off the A1, 5 mins from A720. On site restaurant is very nice. Our standard twin room had the purple bed light Yassss style points. Carpark is decent but watch out for potholes. Nice shower, bath too, quiet room. Super comfy beds and spare pillows are in room if you like 2 pillows. Staff were all sound as, man on night shift on 2nd march special shout out had some class patter.

We recently stayed for a little getaway, and let’s just say the experience was exceptional in every way. The room was spacious, the bed was sturdy (very important!), and the soundproofing? Let’s just say it did exactly what we needed it to. The check-in process was smooth, the staff were welcoming but not intrusive, and the hotel bar was the perfect spot to relax and unwind before heading upstairs for… well, more fun. The lighting in the room set a great mood, and the shower pressure was just right for a much-needed refresh afterward. Overall, a fantastic stay—we’d definitely come back for another intimate getaway. Highly recommend for couples (or adventurous threesomes) looking for a discreet yet comfortable setting.

Had most of what you can come to rely on at a Premier Inn good price and clean comfortable room. However my room was a bit more tired than I would normally expect as one of the lights wasn’t working and there was definite signs that damp in the bathroom had caused damage around the skirting boards which were rotting, however the room was clean. I was disappointed not to have a choice of decaf coffee and herbal teas in the room At breakfast the coffee machine wasn’t working and I was disappointed not to have the option of vegetarian sausages at breakfast possibly they are available if you ask for them but when you are in a hotel for work it’s good to have a cooked breakfast ready to go so as it was a self-service breakfast there was no waiting around for breakfast to be served so that was great. The hotel is close to a railway line and a road so it is rather noisy so I would recommend bringing earplugs. However it is very convenient for getting into Edinburgh as a train station is close by and it’s only a 10 minute train ride.

Best stay for family, our family stayed here four nights during new year. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staffs are always attentive and helpful. the stay was peaceful, we had nice time here. Morning breakfast is seared from 7am to 10:30am. There were few days when we visited little later 10am too, the food was served fresh and entire set of continental breakfast was still available. The food served are fresh, tasty and staffs are welcoming to get started with a fresh day! Overall, we had a nice time-out, comfortable stay and tasty breakfast every day. Thank you very much!

What can I say about this place from the moment we arrived we was welcome great staff only wish all premier inns had the same hospitality the breakfast at this place is amazing what a choice.. the cuddie brae thanks Melissa great food n service.
