Yotel Edinburgh

Es liegt in der Altstadt, nur 15 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Edinburgh Waverley entfernt. In der Nähe gibt es viele gute Restaurants und Bars. Die Zimmer des Hotels sind nicht sehr geräumig (und einige haben kein Fenster, sodass es ziemlich dunkel ist, wenn man alles ausschaltet), aber es ist für jeden genau das Richtige. Das Personal ist auch sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Alles war großartig, bis auf die Dusche, die ins Zimmer tropfte. Gute Lage, bequemes Bett. Kostenloser Tee und Kaffee.

Clean and relatively sizable room. Free self-service coffee at the bar (although that was not mentioned prior to check in). Food wise, not much of a variety at the bar. Walking distance from Princes Street.

I stayed second time in Yotel Edinburgh during my trip in Scotland since I wanted to be Edinburg the first and last night when I returned to London. Yotel is a nice hotel with location right in the downtown and good for me since I took bus in and out Edinburgh airport, but not perfect location if travelers take train.

Very convenient hotel located in the newer part of the city. Lots of restaurants and shops around, everything is at walking distance! Rooms are not too big but they are very comfortable and modern. Loved it!

The worst experience that I have ever had. First of all, when we arrived on the first day on 24 September, the night shift staff was very rude and unhelpful. We were not welcomed by any of the staff and had to use self check in service. After 10 minutes. We noticed the self check in machine was not working and had to go back to the concierge/reception to do the check in process. We were only been told that the self check in machine was experiencing technical issues, despite we were standing there and were trying to use the machine for a while. Apart from this, my family had tried to get hold of one of the male staff, he was very rude and disrespectful. We had been told that he was busy and did not even bother to show any patience or ask us to hold and wait. After we entered into the our room on the 6th floor which is a VIP en-suite room, we noticed that there were some issues. There were two spotlights were out of services and the switch of the blinds were not working. The male staff on the front desk were absolutely terrible with no hospitality manner. He even very impolite and did not even want to listen to our requests. Even we had been told that they would send a handy man to fix the problem, this had not been done so. Overall, we had been very disappointed and had been ruined by this awful experience of our entire trip and the impression of Edinburgh. We will definitely would not recommend anyone to come to this hotel.
