What a beautiful place and such history. Andy and Helen were extremely welcoming and lovely to chat to. Our room was beautiful, full of antique furniture and an amazingly comfortable bed, the room was so comfortable we felt no need to go out, just stay in and relax. Couldn't recommend highly enough, we will definitely stay there again when we are in the area. Thank you.

A really homely house, feeling the warmth as soon as you enter the spectacular hall. The room itself was very cosy, and having had a good sleep in the cosy bed went downstairs to the library where there was a choice of fruit croissant, yogurt, followed by a hearty breakfast, they had other options including vegetarian. The history of the house is fabulous, and you can clearly see the love of the house from Helen and Andy. Would definitely return when in the area. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Eagle House. The bnb is in a beautiful old building with an interesting history. There was a Large comfy bed, a fantastic breakfast with lots of choice and friendly staff. For what you get, it’s a bargain and we will be back. Great location, only a short walk into the centre of the village.

Apparently, the facilities offered at this hotel are " Top Secret" so, my advice is to not ask. Especially if you are unlucky enough to deal with a very self-inflated, an arrogant person called Helen, who obviously believes that both rudeness and preconceptions are an endorsement for staying in business... I'm sure that this hotel is very nice and that not all the staff are as unfortunate as Helen, but this is definitely not good for the front desk ... Maybe Helen needs re-training? Just a thought.

An excellent venue conveniently located to rest overnight on journeys from Scotland or the Lake District to the South of England or stay longer and enjoy the area. Clean and very thoughtfully and comfortably appointed with friendly welcome and good range of fresh breakfast food.

Lovely B&B, very welcoming (great biscuits in the room with plenty of tea and coffee and real milk in the mini-fridge). Comfortable bed, very good shower. Lots of places to eat within walking distance in town. Highly recommend this and would stay again.

This was the best B&B experience we have ever had. Andy and Helen were perfect hosts along the lines of, staying with old friends who you really love. I have family in Eccleshall but their house is small so we booked Eagle House. I said to my wife as we left that I would return and stay even if my rellys moved to Scotland. Excellent rooms and facilities along the lines of The Hilton or The Academy in Bloomsbury (I've stayed in both). The beds are feather soft and big. Great views. Lots of history and a lovely drawing room to sit and relax in. Breakfast was sumptuous and service exemplary. Don't forget to look for the 'treasure'. Thank you Andy and Helen, we WILL return!

Our stay at Eagle House was delightful as were our hosts Helen and Andy. The room was spotless, warm, cosy and very comfortable and gardens a delight to walk through. We felt very spoilt at breakfast with almost anything you wanted served with a smile. The location too - so easy and felt so private and within a short stroll of the small pretty town of Eccleshall with lots of choice for evening supper. We will return. Thank you

Lovely location, very beautiful house with a good bed and a fantastic breakfast. Helen and Andy were lovely and very accommodating. I went up on business, but I'd definitely go back for a break with my partner or the whole family. Nearby town has plenty of pubs, a wine shop and local amenities.
