Cromwell House

The room had not been cleaned and prepared to acceptable standards. The white pillows had some stains, and it looked like the covers had just been pulled up from when the previous occupier had left. Creased linen and stained pillows were really a put off. The adjoining shower was quite disgusting in that there was someone else's s hair on the floor from a previous stay. Parking is a bit of a nightmare, which is typical of the town, but the establishment could at least provide validated parking similarly to others in the area. The establishment is more of a halfway house than a hotel. Unfortunately, I arrived just after 18h00 when there was no one at reception who could have assisted with resolving some of the challenges, although to be they were available on the phone and were able to provide directions on how to access the property as well as where to find parking.

Ideally situated on Cavendish Place, and literally a 2-3 mins walk down to Eastbourne's Pier. Clean room & bathroom, offering a comfortable, single bed, tv, chest of drawers, wardrobe, tea/coffee making facilities, sufficient toiletries, hair dryer on request. Friendly proprietor. Quite safe & secure, all in all.

Hard bed and found more than a few hairs… wasn’t told the kitchen was being returned and so had to go out for breakfast. Also wasn’t told the allowance for said breakfast was £10 and anything over I would have to pay! The cafe was closed on my first morning here so that was not good either… only good thing was the beach was literally at the end of the street!

Stayed for 3 nights at around £100, well worth the money. The street my room overlooked could be quite noisy but that’s what you get in the town centre. Staff looked after me very well. Would recommend.

Such a fantastic find! Two minutes walk from the seafront, absolutely spotless inside. En-suite shower, tea and coffee in room, breakfast cooked to order. When we arrived we were given a parking space (which had been saved by the owner) which was really appreciated as we visited Easter weekend so busy. Will definitely visit Cromwell house again. As I said a fantastic find.

A warm welcome from the owner who kindly took my bags to my room. Had booked a single room but was given the twin room which was Brill. Having the 2 dogs with me , it gave me that bit more space. Rooms was light and airy , very clean.all facilities I needed. To make it better my dogs came for free , so super chuffed. Breakfast is included in the price which was full English and cereals ,yoghurt, fresh orange juice tea or coffee. This was included in the price of the room which was fantastic rate. Would recommend to anyone wishing to visit Eastbourne.
