There are two town beaches (Hole in the wall and McCook), one state beach (Rock Neck State Park) and numerous of private neighborhood beaches (Crescent, Black Point, Oak Grove, Davis, etc. Then there is arguable the nicest waterfront walkways in CT. The Niantic Bay Boardwalk is 1.1 miles (1.6 km) long with dozens of built in benches along the way. It is reserved for walkers and runners only. NON WATERFRONT ACTIVITIES: 10 minutes away is a large Stop & Shop grocery store, COSTCO, large drug store and a movie theater. Casinos, Mystic Village, Seaport and Aquarium are 20 minutes away.
