"We stayed for a couple of nights in February as we wanted to do some sightseeing in the area. We were warmly greeted by the owner, Richard, on our arrival and he was extremely helpful throughout our stay. The room was warm and comfortable, and everything was clean and tidy. The co-owner, Richard's wife Nat, is the chef and she cooks the most exquisite Thai food. The breakfasts were great, too.It's a convenient location for visiting Lyme Regis, Beer, Sidmouth etc or if you are a business traveller."

"Popped in for a late lunch, and were greeted warmly by staff. Having perused the menu we opted for the lunch and a drink special and ordered the ploughman’s. when it was served to us it looked lovely but was somewhat odd. Instead of a chunk of bread and ploughman’s/branston pickle, it came with 2 slices of warm garlic bread and a pot of apple sauce with some chilli flakes sprinkled across the top. Tasteless ! Was crying out for some good old pickle /some tasty relish and crusty bread and butter. Definitely felt that they didn’t have all the ingredients for a traditional ploughman’s and compromised - disappointed"
