"Had a wonderful stay at St Ives hotel. Fabulous hosts, very welcoming and helpful. Hotel rooms all very comfortable, great start to our family trip “down memory lane”! Best breakfast we had away! "Alles war perfekt. Jackie war einfach wunderschön, machte Sie sich sehr entspannt und willkommen, Zimmer war sauber und hatte alles, was wir für unseren Übernachtung benötigt. Von allen Hotels und B&b's habe ich ohne Zweifel in diesem geblieben, war das beste kochene Frühstück, das ich je hatte. "Had the most incredible 2 nights at Douglas Park. We were greeted warmly by Ken, who couldn’t have been more accommodating and knowledge. The location is perfect, with beautiful views of the promenade and a short walk into Dunoon. We were lucky with the weather too so that was a bonus! Rooms were absolutely immaculate and decorated beautifully. The shower was super powerful and there was lovely shower gel, soap, shampoo provided. I had a sea front room but my travelling companion had a lovely garden view ( very well maintained!), which again, was just as nice! I really enjoyed my morning coffee and tea cake looking out the large bay windows. Breakfast was faultless. Would reccomend the crumpet, Brie and bacon, it was spot on. The meat used in the breakfast is obviously butcher quality. I forgot to ask Ken where he gets that haggis - it was the best I’d tasted!! There was a fab wee lounge area with great views that was available for guests to use too. I would absolutely recommend a stay at Douglas Park, there’s not a thing I would change about my stay. Beyond expectations, thank you! I’ve already made the recommendations to my friends."
