My husband had to stay in France for a week and we found this hotel in Lille, he stayed there for a couple of days until he had to go to Dunkerque. First of all, I want to start by saying that my husband does not speak English and therefore I was helping him to get around through talking on the phone with people and booking places online from the UK. When I was trying to extend his day at the hotel for an extra night, the receptionist had told me that the price is different tonight and it is €98. I was quite sceptical so I decided to check the price on their website and had seen that it was half of the price that the receptionist had told us. My husband had to go to Dunkerque and we found that there was another B&B Hotel there and we thought since he was confident and comfortable in the hotel in Lille, it would be easier for him to stay at the same hotel in Dunkerque. However this was the worst experience. I had booked a night at this hotel for my husband only for the receptionist to say that they wouldn't accept my husband because he did not have the credit card that I had payed with. He was never asked to show a credit card in the B&B Hotel in Lille. Bear in mind, my husband does not know english, he is a tourist and due to where he is from, he does not have a VISA or Mastercard. I spoke to what seemed to be the manager of the hotel and explained to him my situation and that I could send him a photo of my card details if that would be better as I did not want my husband on the street. He then replied with a cold ”No.”, I mentioned that it does not say anywhere on the website that you need a credit card on arrival and in Lille they did not ask me for one. He replied to me with this: ”Well this is MY hotel.” in a very arrogant manner. I asked for a refund and he replied ”Check online”. Not only did I not get a refund (as there was no option for one online), my husband was out in the freezing and rainy weather with no where to go. My husband had later told me that the staffs attitude towards him was rude and smug when he attempted to talk to him in the little bit of English that he knew, as if they were looking down on him for being a foreigner. This is absolutely discriminatory and I would avoid this place at all costs, unless you are fine with arrogant and snobbish behaviour. For this all to happen on my husbands birthday is just heartbreaking. I have never felt so angry and helpless that my husband was roaming the streets to a strange city he was so unfamiliar with. I do not recommend this place, please avoid if you want to be scammed for your money.

Gut gelegenes Hotel, in der Nähe des Zentrums. Sehr gutes Empfangs. Modernes Zimmer, perfekt sauber, groß, ruhig und ganz komfortabel (sehr gutes Bett, Minibar, Safe). Sehr richtige Bad mit einer großen Dusche in Italien, gut für Leute wie ich ein wenig ”volumenvoll” ... Mehrere ”mehr”: separate WC, Treppentür, Treppentür und WC/Badezimmer-Gesamt-Zimmer die einen ”Sas” bilden, elektrische Rollen. Zwei kleine ”weniger”: - Mein Zimmer gab auf der Straße mit einem großen Schrauben. Aber da die Luft im Badezimmer eher unzureichend war, zwang es, das Fenster zu öffnen, um die Temperatur nach einer Dusche. Unbehaglich ... Mit Klimaanlage wäre dieses Hotel perfekt gewesen; - das etwas kapriziöse WLAN zwingt sich mehrmals wieder anzuschließen, es ist ein bisschen erschütternd. Ich habe das Frühstück nicht getestet.

I have stayed here 3 times now whilst working at Dunkerque port. The staff are always very friendly, polite and helpful. They try to communicate as best they can as I have limited French vocabulary. They have a lovely new receptionist, Fadwa, who speaks English very well. I would highly recommend this hotel when visiting Dunkirk for business or a short sightseeing trip.

Robinette aus dem Krieg. Duschetaschen auf der Seite mit einer getrockneten Wand. Wasser der Toiletten stagnieren. Bettbeleuchtung gebrochen. Und an der Seite des Frühstücksbuffets, ein Sketch so war nichts. Schäden von Obst, 2 und 3 Käse schlecht am Punkt. Das Schlimmste ist, dass 4 kleine Getreidebrot aus dem Gefrierschrank gelangen (eins fühlte den Fisch), und für Tee-Getränke wie ich, müssen Sie einen Kaffee essen (kein Kuchen am zweiten Morgen). Wenn man in die Toilette gehen will, ohne in mein Zimmer zu steigen, muss man in den Untergrund gehen, um auf einen HS-Badewanne zu fallen. Einzig positiv: Das Personal ist sehr nett.
