Travelodge Dundee Central Hotel

I had a great time

Great central hotel, lovely warm room, plenty of tea and coffee, fresh towels, ideal for our short break . Own downside was noise by bins 5.30-6 every day which was a right pain, took me ages to get back to sleep

We paid £71 for breakfast, not knowing it was a boxed breakfast. We then asked for a refund and they sent us all over the place. Finally after finding the manager, our refund was declined because she said she couldnt do it. Whats the point of being a manager?!?! On the cystomer service sight when i spoke to an agent. The agent said that the refund was possible but i had to do it through a manager. The wifi was very bad. We paid almost £16 for wifi and it ended up not working. We also had a disabled badge to park in the disabled spot. But they were taken by people who did not have a disabled badge, which made it hard for my nan to walk to the hotel. Ot was a very very very bad experience. The manager was emotionless. She couldnt care about what we had to say. Very lazy and careless.

Our stay was absolutely fine. We arrived late and there were still plenty of parking spaces (though a bit tricky to identify which were for Travelodge guests). The 24hr checking was very welcome. The room was large, but otherwise average/as expected. Only downside was that the bed wasn't very comfortable and there was a bit of noise from the street. But then it is very handy for the city centre. Slight downside of. I breakfast on site, but The West House breakfast was great. Not much else to say! It was a fairly standard, average Travelodge experience.

This was a little family break but was disappointed with the place it dose need a full revamp but is central

Friendly staff, clean and close to the city centre. Dundee is a very nice, friendly city. Two famous football clubs, lots of other ‘junior clubs’ such as Dundee North End. Museums and art gallery worth a visit and nice bakeries. River Tay is magnificent and Broughty Ferry close by is great, with castle museum. Also two independent record stores close to each other near the station for your vinyl.
