Innisfree House

Nice property, very close to busy road so had great difficulty sleeping with traffic noise throughout the night. Bed was comfortable. En-suite small, clean in appearance, but had a dreadful odour that the air freshener could not eliminate. Breakfast adequate.

Lovely house with loads of character. Near transport links and a short walk from town. Room was excellent and clean. Booked a single room but had double bed and small seating area. Breakfast included in prices was freshly cooked and tasty. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Although the room overlooked a main road, it wasn’t noisy.

We checked in to Innisfree bed and breakfast on May 10 for 1 night. We were greeted by our hostess and given the house rules about noise, breakfast time, keys etc-all good. It’s a beautiful old home with some original furniture and decor, lovely to see. When we arrived home in the evening and retired to bed we found the twin mattresses exceptionally soft to the degree that the middle sank down, making it very soft but not too comfortable. Being tired I fell asleep quickly and didn’t notice the support though. For a B&B with the reputation it has, I would expect unit issues to be dealt with like the grout being replaced where missing in the bathroom and the laminate flooring being repaired where separating and not fitting properly

Great location, just a stroll away from Dundalk town centre. Parking available out front, secure and safe Absolutely spotless inside, very well run and excellent friendly staff. For me, the breakfast was the high point, freshly cooked full Irish with China cups and quality silver ware. A touch of class, first class Thank you all for a truly memorable experience, really recommend Inisfree for your break in Dundalk
