An Amazing Stay at Coconut Lodge – A Peaceful Oasis in the Mekong Delta I had a wonderful experience at Coconut Lodge. The location is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful greenery, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The lodge itself is very charming, clean, and well maintained. The food was excellent—fresh, tasty, and full of local flavor. Every meal felt special. The staff were incredibly polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I also loved the activities offered. The bike ride through the quiet villages and lush paths was relaxing and scenic. The boat trip on the Mekong River was a great way to experience the local life and natural beauty of the area. I highly recommend Coconut Lodge to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic experience in the Mekong Delta.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Fun cooking evening. And our Lodge was very clean and spacious… much better than the brochure. There’s lots to do and see, cycle rides, boat rides, rope factories, coconut mat factories and lots of cottage workshops. You really get a feel for how people live here.

Bungalow accommodations were clean, comfortable and air conditioned. Pool was refreshing and staff was most helpful setting up rides and tours of the local area. If you are interested in observing rural, agricultural Vietnam in a comfortable setting, this is the place for you.

We travelled from Saigon which was a 4 hour journey with a stop. Ideally we should have stayed 2 nights rather than 1 to make the most of the opportunity and lessen the impact of the travelling. We met the owner who was very welcoming; the Lodge provides employment for his family and neighbours and there is a nice feel about the place. Service is very good and everyone is friendly. We were happy with the location and the amenities on offer. The room was clean and tidy. Having visited the Vietnam War Museum the day before, we were humbled to meet an actual VC veteran. He was happy to answer our questions and play some Vietnamese folk music for us by candle light. We enjoyed both the bike trip through the countryside and the river boat trip; wish we could have had longer on both. We didn’t tip any individual - porter, waiting staff, tour guide, housekeeper etc - preferring to tip once at checkout. Tips are shared equally across all staff which feels like a nice thing to do. If you do visit, I hope you’re lucky to share some rice wine with a Một, hai, ba, dzô!

The Coco Riverside Lodge is a peaceful place surrounded by the lush vegetation of the Mekong Delta. The place is well equipped and the staff is very dedicated to multiple activities. We will have excellent memories of the cooking class to make Banh Xeo, as well as the bikes allowing us to wander around the surrounding village.
