Our stay at La Strada was non- existent so I am unable to comment on the interior of the property. However, I have based my review upon communication with Nicola the owner/manager. Despite booking this accommodation two years ago prior to COVID, two days before arriving we confirmed the booking only to be told there was none. Our money has been paid, and to date no refund received despite Nicola's reassurances that a refund would be forthcoming. He is also not taking or returning calls. We have no recourse except to lodge a bad review. Once again it seems that the consumer pays at the end of the day and the tourism operators gain. When will airlines/tourism industries stop blaming COVID and start to take responsibility. We were told that he did not have any money. Frankly, I don't care!!! We all want to get up and running again after nearly two years of lock -down but it now appears that the customer is NEVER right. Do not touch this accommodation with a barge pole it may well be nice inside, but the manager is dishonest.
