The location was great for my purpose, I had some business to attend to in Fonthill and the hotel was a stone's throw away. Still needed to drive but it was a 5min drive.
It is also walking distance from Liffey Valley shopping mall. Its a typical large mall with decent restaurants and a cinema.
The hotel is connected to a fitness centre (like a health club) and it offers a gym and swimming pool. Entry is free for hotel guests. Go early, the pool gets crowded after 8.30am.
There is ample parking and it's available at a concessionary rate.
My only grouse was the lack of toiletries provided. Thankfully I had brought my own set. The toilet only has hand soap and shampoo (but the dispenser was almost empty).
Other than that, the room was spacious, clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Worth staying at if you need to be in that area.

Was very clean and spacious, even tho it was out from Dublin centre by 20 mins in taxi it was only 5 min away from a shopping centre called Liffey valley that had restaurants and a cinema if you were to look for things to do.

I asked for one family room but I got two ajoining rooms. Was not suitable for small kids. The dinner was cold. The kids asked for spaghetti from the kids menu but got a completely different pasta. There an old takeaway in the fridge from the previous guest.

The room itself from the outlook was amazing! Was spacious, a huge balcony and gorgeous! As I got settled in I noticed a good few things that weren’t so good!
Most obvious was the bathroom. There was such a strong smell of sewerage coming from all drains, the bath, the shower, the toilet and unfortunately it wafted throughout the whole hotel room. Was very unpleasant!
There were little bugs crawling around the shower basin I think silver fish so didn’t have a shower!
The radiator in the area with the bed did not work. So was pretty chilly.
Tried to call room service but the phone was broken which was disappointing!
The balcony doors rattled throughout my stay. There were also cigarette butts all over the balcony itself

Shower head missing in our room 218 which made it near impossible to shower as the pressure of the water coming out was too strong. Beds very hard with no extra pillows in the room
