Twee nachten in dit hotel verbleven om vrienden te bezoeken in Brabant. De dag van aankomst zowel het terras als ook het a la carte restaurant benut. Goede keuken, prima wijnen en vriendelijke bediening. De bedden zijn goed, de kamers schoon en voldoende ruim. Let niet teveel op de negatieve beoordelingen van anderen. Het hotel is weliswaar uit de jaren 80, maar zeker niet onderkomen en als je geluid hoort van andere gasten, ligt dat aan die gasten, niet aan het hotel. De geluidmakers gewoon zelf aanspreken. Ieder hotel in Nederland zit tegenwoordig vol met buitenlandse ZZP-ers, ook de 5 sterren hotels. Dat krijg je als je maar €2000,- voor een keuken wilt betalen. En al die beoordelingen over het onterecht aantal sterren? Dit hotel voldoet aan alles voor 4 sterren. Dat heeft namelijk te maken met het voorzieningenniveau en niet met zijden lakens, kristallen glazen of kasjmier vloerbedekking. Goed hotel voor een goede prijs.

Hier war er die Nacht vor einem längeren Aufenthalt im Epheling Resort. Dieses Hotel ist nur OK - aber als Basis für Epheling es ist gut. Zimmer schmeckt vom Rauch, als wir ankamen und fühlten sich ein bisschen krampft für 4 Personen. Das oberste Bett ist sehr hoch. Essen Sie Pizza im Restaurant, aber schmeckte ein wenig wie eine billige Asda Pizza. Das Frühstück war besser. Das Hotel war beschäftigt mit Familien wie erwartet. Der Park ist mit einem Supermarkt geteilt, so hatte es viel Platz. Als Basis für Efteling es ist OK, hatten wir 3 Nächte als Bosrijk Hotel und das war tausendmal besser.

When staying at the hotel we couldn’t fault it. Children stay free if sharing a room, and we had booked to visit Efteling. We didn’t realise but our stay coincided with carnival, for this reason I think we were allocated a room at the back of the hotel (as I can imagine those front facing would be very noisy - there is a huge stage directly in front of the hotel at this time, as well as many food vans and outside bars etc - not that any of this worried us). So our room was on the 5th floor at the rear with a direct view of the multi story car park! (But we didn’t book for a view!). The room was well equipped with a comfy bed and a seperate shower and toilet. Everything was very clean. The only issue I would say regarding the rooms is that they were very dark so it was hard to see your items in the wardrobe. Not a big deal! The staff on reception were really helpful and chatty, and gave us lots of advice. It’s super easy to reach Efteling from here, we walked to the coach station (just by the train station) and there were regular buses. Again children travel free. You could walk to the station in about 10-15 mins. The shopping streets are very close to the hotel, and nice for a stroll - plenty of places to eat etc. we enjoyed backwerk bakery just a couple of shops down from the hotel, they did fresh smoothies and juices and lovely fresh sandwiches. Perfect for brunch/lunch. There is a Taco Bell next to the hotel! My son wanted to try it but we didn’t get chance! The issue for us came out check out, our flight wasn’t until the evening so we asked to use the secure luggage room for our case so we could enjoy our last day. We came back to the hotel to pick up our bag, and make our way to the airport. I was let in to the luggage room to get our case, but it had gone. The staff didn’t know what to do, apart from check and speak to other staff members. Eventually I asked to see the manager as we really needed to leave (fortunately we had been sensible and kept our passports and money etc on us). And I was asking for something in writing to say they had “lost” our case - as I didn’t feel comfortable just leaving with no proof (they also wanted to take the luggage receipts - I think because they wanted to figure out what had happened). The manager was “checking the CCTV” but upon our second request did come out and see us. She did apologise for the case going missing (after a long time!! More hearing about how strange this was?!?) and said if it “wasn’t found” they would replace it. At this point I was getting concerned about travelling home without any of our things, especially with my son, for example some warmer clothes, his switch!! I felt the customer service here was lacking, there was no gesture here - could they assist us getting to the airport for example - She did offer to go to the shop but by this point we were cutting it so fine to get to the airport / which we said to her! Mein Freund und ich buchten dieses Hotel in Kombination mit dem Eftelingpackage und Tbh, gingen einfach mit dem, was billigste war. Und darum kann ich nicht genau beschweren. Es war sauber, es ist nahe dem Park, alles, was Sie brauchen, ist um die Ecke usw. Aber. Es war seltsam, dass es im Haus nichts gibt, da alles vom Hotel neben De Kroon betrieben wird. Auch bin ich nicht 100% davon überzeugt, dass Ihr Gepäck in dem Gepäckraum sicher ist, das Personal scheint nicht zu überprüfen, ob Sie das Zimmer ordnungsgemäß geschlossen haben, nicht zu erwähnen, dass sie nicht einmal überprüft haben, ob wir eigentlich Hotelgäste sind, wenn wir unsere Gepäck abholen wollten. Wir hätten jemand sein können. Glücklicherweise hatten wir ein Zimmer für 4 Personen, also hatten wir genug Platz für uns, aber der reine Gedanke, das Zimmer mit mehr Leuten zu teilen, gibt mir Albträume, vor allem, weil das Fenster kleiner ist. Mit 32° Celsius im Tag hatte ich extreme Probleme, schlafen zu fallen. Die Luft war nur schrecklich, mit mehr Menschen in unserem Zimmer wäre ich gerade gestorben. Ich habe durch die Online-Check-outs bemerkt, dass wir für beide Tage gezahlt Frühstück. Ich gebe zu, dass ich hätte verstanden, dass ich bei der Zahlung, aber ich tat die Mathematik nicht damals, ich war beschäftigt, nur dahin zu kommen. Glücklicherweise habe ich bemerkt, dass früh genug, um das zu nutzen, denn ich empfehle den Menschen, dort zu bleiben, nur Frühstück in Albert Heiijn nur um die Ecke zu bekommen und im Hotellobby de Kroon zu essen. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber eine Tad teuer für das, was Sie erhalten. Ich würde es wieder tun, da ich Epheling sehr liebe, aber ich weiß, dass nicht-Fans hier vielleicht ihre Probleme haben.

Wir möchten uns für den guten Service und freundliche Empfang bei der Rezeption danken. Die Zimmer waren top und sehr schön, auch auf Ihrem Zimmer können Kaffee und Tee machen Es ist eine Freude, wenn Sie früh weggehen und trotzdem einen Kaffee trinken wollen. Parken vor der Tür ist wie eine Freude erfahren. Im Restaurantbar wurden die Getränke gut behandelt. Top und empfehlen für alle. Bis zum nächsten Mal.

Schönes Zimmer, gute Matratze. Großes Bad. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Wir waren gern da - am Abend kann man den Tag schön in der Bar auf dem Dach ausklingen lassen. Praktisch war auch die Nähe zu Bahnhof und Park&ride Parkplatz. Innenstadt ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar

Ich habe vier Nächte mit meiner Frau und der erwachsenen Tochter hier geblieben. Wir fanden es sehr komfortabel und das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist von Wäldern und Seen umgeben. Neben dem Essen im Hotel haben wir mehrere der Restaurants in der Nähe des Hotels und in Oisterwijk versucht. Es gibt vieles zu sehen in der Nachbarschaft, wie Kasteel Nemelaer, wo wir leckere Haselnüsse oder die Loonse und Drunense Duinen Landschaft genossen haben, ein großes Gebiet von Sanddünen. Der Park lässt viel zu wünschen, aber sonst ist der angenehmen Urlaub.
