The Hub Bicheno

Service was over and beyond expectation. Walking distance to everything in town. Being on main street and near water I expected it to be noisy, but it was very quiet. Much larger spaces than expected. Very clean and tidy. Would stay here again.

We were surprised by the size of the room, with a large couch and TV, though the bed was just adequate in size. The place fits the label with excellent options for breakfast next door at the bakery and Le Coq restaurant a couple of doors down for a pleasant dinner

This room is well-presented, with modern furnishings. It was lovely and clean. We had Room 1 (Boatwood Studio), which is closest to the street. We were not disturbed by any street noise. The bed was comfortable and the room was a nice size. The bathroom was well set-out and clean. The contactless key handover worked well. We got a text message with the code when expected. The location is very good. We had a delicious breakfast at Blue Edge Bakery, which is next door.

Great accommodation in the heart of town. We had an accessible room which was located at the back of the property so it was quite quiet. The room itself is one large room with a bathroom at the back. It is quite modern and very clean. Furnishings are minimal however we think that was due to the fact that it is an accessible room. However I think there would still be enough room to quite easily fit a small kitchenette with a sink as washing the cutlery and plates in the bathroom sink wasn't easy. There also could be room for a coffee table or small side tables to put drinks and meals onto. There were some strange locations for power plugs and the instructions to lock the door were given albeit a bit strange to decipher and understand. Still a nice stay but a small changes could make it better. Great location to the shops and restaurants.

Spacious room, well equipped, very clean, well located. What's not to like? Note that if you're looking for contact with a chatty receptionist you're in the wrong place - this is an unattended experience, you'll be sent a message with the code for your door and you won't see anyone except perhaps your neighbours sitting on their little porch. Right next to an excellent cafe for breakfast etc. Recommended if you're driving through.

The Hub Bicheno, superbly appointed seemingly brand new units on main St next to a bakery that is open 0600-1500. Parking at rear of complex. Netflix available together with excellent free to air TV and a.m radio reception. Make no mistake, this is first class accomodation on the spectacular Tasmanian east coast, you won't be disappointed
