Natural Park Villa Resort

Lovely big spacious two-storey apartments and private pool and balcony. Owner Mara is so friendly and helpful which makes you feel valued and welcome. The resort is huge for the number of people staying there which means the main three pools are not crowded and there are plenty of sun beds to choose from. The restaurant serves up really good quality food and the staff are so friendly and cheerful. This was really important as the resort is quite isolated about 15 min drive from nearest town so there are very few alternatives to walk to for eating. Just make sure to take as much cash as you can as otherwise you will have to make frequent trips to the ATM which is a 20 dollar return taxi ride. There is no ability to pay with card at the restaurant. Also, best to pay in schillings as you get a bad exchange rate for paying in dollars (this needs looking at as in north of the island dollar to schilling rate is fair when paying in dollars i.e 2,700 schillings to the dollar as opposed to 2,500. The only other feedback I would give is that the balconies could do with having some shelter from the sun. If you are staying the paje area though - I highly recommend this place as although isolated, paje itself is not very nice.

We just had nothing but a grest week at Natural Park Villas, Dongwe! We chose a villa in the front row- great view and just 20 m to the ocean! Arrived late. The team had prepared for our arrival, AC on, water in the fridge and an envelope with the key. They also helped to order pizza, that was ready upon arrival. Nice treatment! Our plan here was just to relax. Not many activities. If you want activities, just go down at the beach, ask a local for activities. Also the NPV-staff will help you. - clean and comfortable villa - all things worked to 100 % - daily cleaning of pool/s and garden - just ask for new towels or house cleaning, and you will get it - secure place - nice sunbeds - car parking (we had a rental car) - close to Paje with all needed services - good food at Asili Bar (at the site) and on nearby resorts. Try different! - wifi worked ok - only one loss of electricity during our stay - friendly staff Any negative? Not much. Food is good, but a bit expensive. However convenient with good food near. We were prepared for this, but much cheaper for example in Paje. Card payment did not work. Not a big issue, but a lot of cash was needed… No laundry service on site, but easy arranged with local service in Paje. Recommend this place to 100% 😃😃😃

We cannot express how lucky we were to find this site to stay in whilst relaxing in Zanzibar. The site has two rows of villas facing the Indian Ocean and we were lucky enough to be in one of the front villas. The villa was spacious (could easily sleep 2-8) has it's own kitchen (which we used both for some breakfast and evening meals, which meant we enjoyed finding local shops with local produce that was both delicious but also fantastic value for money), WiFi, and it's own swimming pool. The grounds, however, also have three pools which are cleaned daily, as well as numerous sun- lounges to spend the day sunbathing. The staff were, again as we have found in all places we have stayed in Tanzania, friendly and attentive. The grounds are closed to the road at night with security who are there 24/7. The added highlight, however, was the bar and restaurant called Asili, with the food being cooked fresh and the staff incredibly friendly. To get the best experience I recommend you get a car so it way to explore Zanzibar to the full and get a true flavour of the island. We explored all along the east coast so are looking forward to returning to explore the west coast. For those of you from the UK, driving is on the same side as the UK so is easy. There are a few things to be wary of, mainly, the state of the roads (esp crossing from the west, where the airport is, to the east), the fact that people are always walking along roads with no pavements and motorcyclists are everywhere, many with no lights. Saying that, we felt safe the whole time we drove.

A big thank you to Erick and the rest of the Natural Parks team. What an amazing experience, with lovely, attentive hosts. The resort is peaceful, complete with lovely pools and a restaurant to enjoy cocktails at. The villa is thoughtfully designed and comfortable! We'll definitely be back!

The rooms are HUGE, the kitchen is perfect for self catering (we ordered a delivery of groceries from a boda boda service) and there is a private swimming pool for each villa, this was a real bonus! We stayed in the second row but still had access to the beach, communal pools and the restaurant. The restaurant has delish breakfasts! The island has a real charm (yes sometimes the WIFI and power cuts but it generally doesn’t last very long and hey after all, this is Africa!) The staff at the villas are incredibly kind. The housekeeping were especially great with our baby and very thoughtful (they set up a cot for him to sleep in and a baby seat in the chair to feed him) We did some local tours and scuba diving. I came home with a gorgeous sunkissed tan and hakuna matata vibes! Asante sana

We stayed Almost 2 weeks , as it was só pleasent the first week. We organizes to Stay the 2nd week in Nungwi but We didnt feel safe at all , so We decided to go back. The staff is super friendly and the team on watsup are so prompt for any info you need. It is also so spacius and good . We stayed in a villa 1bedroom and the 2nd week the 2bedroom both are wonderfull. The staff at the restaurant até very warmfull and really friendly. You are at home!

Staff is lost, didn’t even expect me my visit, 2nd to the 5th October and we were relocated to three different villas because I don’t know, staff on the ground was amazing, but apprently if you try to contact anyone from the hotel they are based out in the UK, do not recommend it for someone in the run be focused and be careful they are not clear, if you think something else reach me on IG @6dot8

Vacanza indelebile!!! Come ogni anno, prima di prenotare, dò un occhiata alle recensioni. In questo caso dalle recensioni negative ero quasi tentato a rinunciare a Natural Park Villa Resort. L’istinto mi a portato a non rinunciare alla prenotazione. Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo trascorso ben 15 giorni più belli della nostra vita. Forse perché non amiamo la confusione solita estiva. Qui c’è un armonia di pace e tranquillità. Una villa fantastica con molti spazi e servizi importanti. Piscina privata sempre pulita e sfruttata al meglio. I ragazzi del resort in generale sono stati tutti troppo carini e gentilissimi. Inoltre, che non guasta quando si va in altri paesi, la sorveglianza di giorno e di notte. È vero, la strada d’ingresso sterrata da sistemare, ma non è così importante. Bella Zanzibar, bello Natural Park Villa Resort. Senza alcun interesse, consiglio a tutti questo posto incantevole. Grazie mille a tutti voi ragazzi.

Nous avons séjourné 4 jours au Natural Park Villa, l’emplacement est idéal si vous souhaitez vous relaxer avec pour seul bruit la mer et les oiseaux c’est magnifique. Les villas sont superbes, très bien équipé et parfaitement décorées on a le sentiment d’être chez soi et le départ est très difficile de plus chacune des villas dispose de sa propose piscine + 2 magnifiques piscines dans le parc de la résidence, le personnel est souriant et à votre service tout au long du séjour. La cuisine quant à elle est bonne, cependant attention il n’y a que ce restaurant pour manger et pas beaucoup d’autres options aux alentours ! La plage n’est pas la plus adaptée à la baignade mais reste toutefois magnifique de plus ici vous ne serez pas dérangés vous pouvez marcher quasiment toute la plage sans être accosté pour vous vendre quelque chose et ça c’est quand même très agréable !! Nous reviendrons très vite, à bientôt et merci à l’équipe Natural Park de nous avoir accueilli dans ce petit coin de paradis ✨
