This review could have easily been a 1 star. However, on reflection, the price we paid was only £34 a day all inclusive, which included the tax you paid on arrival at check-in. The room was basic but a good size, which included a bath (need to ask for plug as not in room). On arrival, we were given a room with a toilet that didn't flush and a broken toilet seat, which were both resolved quickly. It was out of season, and the room was cold, so I asked for a heater, which again was dealt with quickly. The food offer is very limited and is repetitive, with most days the hot counter offering food being luke warm in temperature. The bar on the afternoon of day three ran out of vodka and gin on the afternoon of day four with neither replaced until the evening of day five with only whisky and buka available for all inclusive guests even though they had spirits in another bar but were only available to paying guests. The gym has an additional charge and has very limited equipment in poor condition. Reception was very helpful in assisting any issues. Most staff are polite enough, and the animation team tries to get to know you. It is located within walking distance of a few cafes / restaurants which we thought were good value for money, which was welcome due to food offer in hotel. The hotel is less than 1/2 a mile from the beach, which is not well maintained, and the two occasions we went were mainly occupied by camel rides. The hotel would appear to have been nice at one time, but it looks like lack of investment over time has taken its toll.
