"During my road journeys from Kolkata towards Dhanbad, Jharkhand, and beyond via NH 19, I have often found Shaan-e-Punjab, Nirsa, to be an exceptionally pleasant and dependable stopover. Whether it is for an early breakfast, a steaming cup of tea, a leisurely lunch or dinner, the place offers a welcome pause from the long road. What sets it apart from many other highway dhabas is the quality of its food, which I have found consistently good and satisfying. The prices are also quite reasonable, making the experience all the more enjoyable. The ambience offers a choice of two distinct dining experiences. One is a comfortable air-conditioned hall, while the other has the traditional charm of a Punjabi dhaba, with charpais and benches where one can sit back and enjoy a more rustic atmosphere. Another feature that deserves appreciation is the clean and tidy restrooms—a small but extremely important comfort for anyone travelling long distances by road. The staff are courteous and hospitable, adding warmth to what could otherwise be just another highway halt. For me, Shaan-e-Punjab is more than a place to stop for food. It is one of those welcome havens along the highway where a tired traveller can pause, refresh, eat well and return to the road with renewed energy. Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das andere negative ist, dass das Hotel keine Aufzugseinrichtungen hat. Es hat sehr gute sichere Parkplätze im Komplex."
