Das Hotel ist ausländerfreundlich. Das Personal ist höflich und freundlich und kann auf Englisch kommunizieren. Das Essen in der Kantine ist gut.

Die Lage ist gut. Viele Restaurants sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Ein Flughafentaxi vom Flughafen kostete 1.700 Taka und ein Uber vom Hotel zum Flughafen kostete 500 Taka. In der Dusche hatten heißes und kaltes Wasser geringfügige Temperaturunterschiede und waren überhaupt nicht warm. Da das Wasser aber lauwarm ist, stört es mich nicht ☺️. Das Restaurant öffnet um 6:30 Uhr, aber selbst wenn Sie um 6:30 Uhr dort sind, können Sie nicht essen, da gerade erst mit der Zubereitung des Essens begonnen wird. Bitte gehen Sie um 6:50 Uhr. Die Speisekarte ist im Allgemeinen gut. Es gibt nur einen Aufzug und es scheint, dass 80 % des Personals ihn benutzen, sodass Sie möglicherweise lange warten müssen. Ich hoffe, es verbessert sich.

War zum zweiten Mal hier, wieder für 4 bis 5 Tage. Vor zwei Jahren war es eine gute Unterkunft. Aber jetzt macht das „Residency“ einen etwas vernachlässigten Eindruck. Der Flur im Obergeschoss war warm und unordentlich. Der Aufzug war immer mit Personal besetzt, sodass man die Treppe benutzen musste. Der Service war vor zwei Jahren großartig, ist aber dramatisch gesunken. Keine Augen für den Gast, nur für Ihren Geldbeutel. Bemerkenswert war die Wartezeit für Ihr Abendessen, mehr als eine Stunde für ein Nudelgericht. Enttäuschend war meine Erfahrung mit dem Rezeptionsleiter. Mein Plan wurde von einem 5-tägigen Aufenthalt auf einen 4-tägigen Aufenthalt geändert. Ich habe es rechtzeitig angekündigt (damit es weitervermietet werden konnte). Musste aber trotzdem 5 Tage bezahlen. Eine Entscheidung des Managers. Er hat sich dafür entschieden, einen Stammkunden zu verlieren. Alles in allem eine enttäuschende Erfahrung, gehen Sie nicht ins Omni „Residency“. Es gibt bessere Optionen in der Nähe für diesen Zimmerpreis.

Ausgezeichnete Unterkunft. Freundliches Personal und Atmosphäre. Ich würde einen Aufenthalt empfehlen. Schöne Bannani-Gegend hinter dem Hotel Sheraton. Auswahl an Speisen zum Frühstück und schöne, saubere Zimmer. Spa und Fitnessstudio sind im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen. Mittag- und Abendessen werden ebenfalls serviert.

Unsere Erfahrung mit dem Omni Residence Dhaka war zutiefst enttäuschend. Obwohl wir eine bestätigte Reservierung hatten, konnten wir nicht im Hotel übernachten, da es angeblich überbucht war. Anstatt eine schnelle Lösung anzubieten, schob man das System für den Fehler verantwortlich. Wir mussten lange warten, bis eine alternative Unterkunft organisiert wurde. Zu allem Überfluss wurden wir während unseres Aufenthalts im neuen Hotel unerwartet gebeten, erneut umzuziehen. Die Organisation und Handhabung der Situation waren einfach schrecklich. Ehrlich gesagt kann ich dieses Hotel aufgrund dieser Erfahrung nicht empfehlen.

Das Hotel ist ausgezeichnet. Das Essen ist auch köstlich und das Restaurant ist sauber; die Bedienung ist freundlich und professionell. Ich habe dort zwei Nächte verbracht und hoffe, wieder hierher zu kommen, falls ich aus irgendeinem Grund in Dhaka sein sollte.

I do not recommend this hotel at all. I have visited 25 countries in 2024, and this is my second holiday of 2025 - this is easily the worst experience I have ever had the sad reality of experiencing. I visited Dhaka after a very long flight from London and I chose this hotel as it was in a very good location, next to the rich and posh areas of Dhaka and expected the service to be of good standard. Upon check-in, I was asked for full payment - which I paid with no hesitation as this was what I agreed to when booking. However, as soon as I checked in at 7pm (bearing in mind, the hotel messaged me what time I will check in, I advised 6pm), the reception staff member advised me only one room is available and the second room will not be available until 9pm. This was not mentioned before taking full payment. Furthermore, I was astonished how a room was not ready at 9pm when check out for guests is 2pm at the latest. I also advised the hotel of my arrival time. I was deeply disappointed with this. At 10, I went back downstairs to ask the status of the second room, and again there was no communication when the room will be ready, other than ‘soon’. We eventually was given the second room after 11:30pm which is frankly not on. I was not offered any sort of apology or compensation. Additionally, the first room we were given at check-in had its own issues. The key card did not work and we had to go to reception for someone to come upstairs and use the ‘master card’ every time to allow us access to our room. We were advised they were not able to do anything until the following morning. The following morning came and when I asked the status of the repair, reception was not aware. I told reception the issues and still no one came. On the 3rd ask, en engineer eventually came to repair the electric lock after an hour. This was around 3pm so we wasted our whole day waiting around for the engineer. Finally, our third and final day, we were deeply upset with the cheating and morals of this hotel. The evening before we had agreed on a very high price of £55 (8000 taka) where a driver would show us around Dhaka for the day and also be a guide. There are many historical monuments in Dhaka and I wanted to understand the history behind these - hence why I paid the overinflated prices. We also agreed after the tour the driver will bring us back to the hotel and then take us to the airport after picking up our suitcases. The first issue we had was that the tour was not a guided tour and so we didn’t get a lesson of the history behind each monument. Secondly, after we arrived back to the hotel, the driver advised it was impossible to fit all our suitcases in his car. The hotel staff knew exactly how many suitcases we had and said they would all fit. When we were advised by the driver that the suitcases would not fit, the hotel manager advised they have a bigger car to take our suitcases but there will be an extra 1000 taka charge. This is horrible hotel, operation management is not perfect, property is excellent, staff need more training, they should know to speak in english, Service totally zero, my personal Star 2, good location middle of Dhaka, no swimming pool, no bar, i Will not recommend.

Average 3 star property with all basic amenities, no swimming pool , breakfast not good only limited variety , dont expect great services throughout your stay its the same average quality services offered , location inside like 5 mins walk from maim road

The name of the hotel is Omni Residency at Bannani. Excellent place with security. Got complementary welcome drink, free breakfast and fruit basket. Got clean and fresh room. Across from Sheraton hotel.
