Another fantastic stay at Brewster Inn. Mark and Tina are lovely hosts and make the stay truly wonderful. The game room is lovely and provides a comfortable stay. Even though the main areas of the house aren't air conditioned, the rooms have window units and are pleasant. The bed is luxurious and provided a great night's sleep. Breakfast is lovely and Mark makes a mean iced coffee! Highly recommend the Brewster Inn to anyone visiting the area!!

Our stay at The Brewster Inn in Dexter, Maine was nothing short of exceptional, and the Hartley Suite made it even more special. This spacious and beautifully appointed suite offered the perfect blend of historic charm and modern convenience. The room was immaculately clean, featuring a comfortable bed, elegant furnishings, and a cozy ambiance that made it feel like a true retreat. The private bathroom was well-stocked with plush towels and quality amenities, adding to the luxurious experience. Each morning, Mark and Tina welcomed us with a delicious homemade breakfast, crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail made us feel truly valued as guests. Beyond the suite itself, the inn’s beautifully landscaped gardens and inviting common areas provided a peaceful escape. We enjoyed our stay and time with family in Dexter. No doubt we will be back!

We stayed at the Brewster Inn while visiting a peony farm in nearby St. Albans. The Game Room is very large, with lots of space to relax in. There are lots of windows and a breeze which made the room sunny and cool. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast and relaxing on the sun porch that overlooks the garden. Also, we felt like there was a better level of privacy compared to other inns we have stayed at because of the inn's design; all the rooms are not off one staircase or hall. Mark and Tina were very accommodating. Also the price for the room was so reasonable. We will absolutely stay here again.

What a wonderful experience to stay in this beautiful home. I had originally booked a B&B only to get to town to realize I had been scammed and had no where to stay. Mark & Tina told me to come on over. They were not having guest that week but took me in anyways. I stayed a week there visiting my mom who had just been placed in a nursing home. The home and grounds are stunning and Mark & Tina couldn’t be more gracious. Will definitely be back again and look forward to staying in this fabulous home again.

I highly recommend the Brewster Inn, home of a former Maine Governor. The Brewster Inn became my favorite BnB and is a real gem. Mark and Tina were very attentive to our needs and made us feel right at home. We rented the Honeymoon Suite (46 years married) which was very comfortable! The bed was awesome - we slept great! Awesome breakfasts. Each day we were greeted with a different home cooked breakfast selection. Mark and Tina are very knowledgeable about places to visit and things to do in Maine. The Brewster Inn will be my go to place for future trips. I highly recommend the Brewster Inn as the perfect place to stay in central Maine.

My wife Anne and I came to the Dexter area in November for two reasons. The first was to celebrate Anne's birthday, and the second was to Geocache. Mark and Tina were gracious hosts who helped celebrate the birthday by giving us a bottle of wine. It was very generous of them. The Honeymoon Room was a hit with its air bathtub. Very enjoyable. The location was perfect for geocaching as we found 49 towns in the four days we were there. All in all, we enjoyed our morning chats with Mark and Tina and would highly recommend the Brewster Inn to anyone who loves to get away to the peace and quiet of the Maine countryside.

“My husband and I had an incredible stay at the Brewster Inn while visiting family in the area. The inn is absolutely beautiful, and the location is perfect for a peaceful getaway. Everything was immaculately clean, and the attention to detail made us feel right at home. The beds were so comfortable with the most amazing pillows—we both slept wonderfully! Breakfast each morning was a real treat, delicious and freshly prepared. The hosts were warm, personable, and went out of their way to make sure our stay was even better. We will absolutely be back again and are already looking forward to our next visit!”

Mark was WAY too intense. We had to pay $20 more a night to be on the ground floor because, by the way there are 22 stairs to climb, at the last minute. RULES, RULES, RULES. Breakfast was not much food ( as compared to other B&B’s we had stayed at. Things like you have to pick a time for breakfast for 4 people in the dining room at once. You can’t feed 6 or 8 at the same time? Give me a break. Can’t sit and have a cup of coffee while I wait? I can’t come through the door for breakfast until you say I can? Sorry not a good experience. B&B’s should be a good experience. Will give them, nice room.

This was our 5th visit with Tina and Mark. Great location for us as we visit family in the area. Comfortable, clean, spacious rooms. Very reasonably priced and good value. Quiet spot, nice fellow guests, tasty homemade breakfast. Looking forward to next year!
