Résidence Vue Mer

One of the best places I've ever stayed. I am sure that there are fancier options on the island but I doubt they could beat this place for service, views and character. JJ and the rest of the staff are wonderful and could not be more helpful. The rooms were clean, bright and had comfy beds and brilliant air conditioning! We had an outdoor covered kitchen with seating that looked out on the immaculate and beautiful garden. Lovely little tropical birds were perched in trees just a couple of metres away and we saw several hummingbirds. The pool area was very nice and the pool was clean. When we stayed the hotel was slightly off-season and quiet - we only saw a couple of other guests at the pool - but it was still cleaned daily. There is an option for breakfast if you ask the night before. This is served on the terrace in the open or under cover depending on the weather and your preference. The breakfast was a delight. Generous portions, delicious pastries and a stunning view. The hotel did not provide other meals or drinks but there is a very generous fridge-freezer in the kitchen and a good mini supermarket a few minutes walk away, as well as other dining options. The kitchen has everything you would need to self-cater. The bus stop is nearby for access to Deshaies. The beach by the Fort Royal was an easy walk and from there you could walk over the headland through the woods to Plage de la Perle (check out Madras 2 there for lunch and drinks). It would be equally as good for families, romantic couples or groups of friends. Of note is the very steep hill approaching the hotel - it would not be ideal if you have mobility issues. If the slope is intimidating in a hire car, there are a couple of parking spaces halfway up that would be easiest. Thank you to JJ and his colleagues.

Dès mon arrivée, j’ai été saisi par la beauté des lieux : une vue imprenable sur la mer scintillante, un cadre empreint de sérénité et une atmosphère qui invite à la détente et au rêve. Chaque détail de votre résidence semble avoir été pensé pour sublimer cette expérience. Le confort de votre propriété est incomparable. Les espaces sont à la fois chaleureux et élégants, offrant un équilibre parfait entre modernité et authenticité. La décoration soignée, les équipements haut de gamme, ainsi que les petites attentions délicates m’ont fait me sentir immédiatement chez moi, tout en profitant du luxe et du charme d’un véritable havre de paix. Les instants passés à contempler le coucher de soleil depuis la terrasse, bercé par la douce mélodie des vagues, resteront gravés dans ma mémoire. Le cadre enchanteur, en harmonie avec la nature environnante, a offert une évasion complète, loin du tumulte du quotidien. Je tiens également à souligner la gentillesse et le professionnalisme de votre équipe. Toujours disponibles et attentifs, vous avez su répondre à mes moindres besoins avec un sourire qui reflète l’âme chaleureuse de ce lieu d’exception. VUE MER est bien plus qu’une résidence : c’est un véritable paradis sur terre. Ce séjour restera un souvenir inoubliable, et je n’hésiterai pas à recommander votre propriété à mes proches ou à y revenir moi-même dès que l’occasion se présentera. Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse dans cette résidence. Logement très propre et fonctionnel avec une belle vue sur la mer. Allées très luxuriantes pour aller au logement. Le personnel est au top. La piscine est très appréciable. Nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer le propriétaire qui est d'une extrême gentillesse. Nous reviendrons
