Belle Vue Guest House

What a fantastic stay we had. Guesthouse was pretty, grounds immaculate. Rooms were spacious, clean and full of character. Facilities were well thought out…..even had some nice touches like a magnifying mirror that my wife appreciated for morning routine. Breakfast was excellent, and service was great. We’ll be back. An excellent stay from start to finish! The Guest House is beautiful inside and out and there is outdoor seating so you can enjoy the garden. When we went inside, Martin gave us a warm welcome and he showed us to a lovely room at the front of the house. The bed was very comfortable and we were provided with everything we needed. The bathroom was fitted out to a high standard and the shower worked well. I really appreciated the high quality bath towels.❤️ Breakfast was also very good. Lots of choice on the hot and cold fronts including homemade granola and Marmite for our toast as well as traditional preserves. What more could any guest ask for?

Everything about this guest house makes it the best we’ve stayed in. From the excellent freshly prepared breakfast to the comfort of the room. Martyn is incredibly helpful with suggesting places to visit and his local knowledge is second to none. Thank you for a lovely break away 5*

This was our second trip to Belle Vue and certainly won't be our last. Seamless booking process, each time we have received an extremely warm welcome. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable/well maintained and furnished. Ideal place to stay for local town where there is a variety of eateries. Very easy access to A10 and within an hours drive to Hunstanton, Ely and Norwich. It was warm weather during our stay and so nice to have seating areas dotted around outside to relax.

This was our 2nd stay in this wonderful Guest House, so much more than a B & B!! We chose the Nelson Room this time as ground floor room required for a mobility issue. Room was spacious, comfortable and double aspect so loads of natural light. Our host Martyn was there to greet us after a pre visit message asking arrival time. Fluffy towels, and toiletries provided. Lovely hot rainfall shower. Tea and coffee making in room and fresh milk available if needed, replenished each day, as well as water. Freeview tv and apps available if needed. Didn't hear other guests, everyone, very respectful. Breakfast was excellent. Hot and plenty of it. Special request today for fried bread noted and provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning, possibly try a 3rd different room next time, but maximum comfort provided in the Nottingham and the Nelson so far. Stayed in the Belle Vue for 4 nits BB wee have stayed in lots off BBs but without doubt this is the best we have ever stayed the owner Martyn could not do enough for us .Also never seen a BB with a pool it’s the breakfast was fantastic nothing too much bother for Martyn. located in a beautiful little village called Denver a 20 minute walk to Downham Market also have Ely and Sandringham an easy drive away Went to Ely was beautiful city cathedral was fantastic. The rooms in the Belle Vue are all themed every one was different and spacious only small request would be to have a small fridge in room The Belle Vue has to be a 5 star BB Will definitely recommend staying there also hope to return sometime in the future once again thanks Martyn for your excellent hospitality
