Dawn Chorus Holidays

I had the best night sleep in a long time!!! It’s such a peaceful and relaxing place. Perfect for sitting out in the evening and enjoying dinner and a glass of wine! It was completely immaculate and had everything you needed. Lovely little extras including milk, eggs included. The grounds are very well taken care of. The owners kept in contact via email to ensure I settled in ok and to check if there was anything I needed. Would highly recommend.

Stayed in the shepherds hut this weekend, absolutely faultless, both Helen and Bob were on hand whenever we required, very easy to book with them, the site was immaculate as was the hut, could. It fault this at all. Will definitely be there again

What a beautiful place! We have just got back from a few nights at Dawn Chorus. Our Safari tent has everything we needed - our children absolutely loved the animals, especially collecting the eggs for our breakfast. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning again soon.

Spotless, well equipt, comfy, staff where so so helpful, all round it was amazing, the extra touch of cakes, milk and eggs on arrival was lovely, you had everything you needed and more we can wait to come back and try out the safari tents and bring my dad to stay to!

Lovely relaxing few days away. We stayed in the Norfolk Horn Shepherds hut with wood fired hot tub. All amenities that we needed. Eggs, milk, tea, coffee and sugar in accommodation on arrival. Lovely home baked fairy cakes, were delicious. Helen and Bob, very welcoming and available if needed. Site was well maintained and well spaced out. Was such a welcomed break and just what we needed. Loved watching the goats and feeding the pigs. Visited local town of Beccles and enjoyed walk alongside the quayside. Took a trip to beautiful Southwold. Would really recommend and would love to come back with family/friends.

Just had 2 nights in the South Down shepherd's hut. Absolutely wonderful. Spotlessly clean, situated on a beautiful site. 5 minutes from the lovely town of Beccles and 20 mins from beaches at Lowestoft and 25 minutes from Southwold and Walberswick. Dawn Chorus gets a 'highly recommended ' from us!

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Dawn chorus holidays. We booked daisy cottage and the south down shepherds hut for a large family group, all of the accommodation was spotless, incredibly modern and they had everything you could possibly need in them! We were there during lambing and it was so wonderful to see the newborn lambs and the children loved collecting eggs in the morning from the chickens. The animals are clearly so well looked after. I won't hesitate to recommend and hopefully will be back again soon! Thankyou for being so accommodating with all the changes made to the booking.

Just returned from a fabulous week at Dawn Chorus. We were a group of 14 and booked The Hen House. The site is well located, peaceful and quiet but still with good access to the town, super markets and local attractions. There is plenty of parking and each cottage has its own enclosed outdoor space so it's safe for kids. There are sheep, goats and lambs right up to the fence which the kids loved plus chickens and other wildlife. The accommodation was well equipped from outdoor toys and games (including ride on diggers) to cupboards full of entertainment. Friendly owners who are always around when needed. The accommodation has en-suite rooms, and is also well equipped. From nightlights and torches, to kids plastic plates, bowls and cutlery. The fire was well stocked if needed and we were left eggs and some treats on arrival. Onsite is a little farm shop and egg store which is cash only. You can buy Marshmallows, egg, meat, cereal, charcoal, etc. Linen and towels were included along with toilet roll, soap and washing up liquid. Cleaning products also available including dishwasher tablets. We used the washing machine and dishwasher alot and there's also a fridge and freezer. Well equipped kitchen with everything needed. We enjoyed wondering around the farm to see the other animals. The information available from the owners pre arrival is the best ever received. Plenty of information about the accommodation and local area. Local supermarkets about 10 mins drive away. We found a great little restaurant called The Swan Motel which is about 10 mins away and worth a visit. We'll be back.

The best and most well thought out safari tent we have stayed in. We always stay in a safari tent and glamp early on in the season when the weather is too unpredictable to camp. Our stay at Dawn Chorus went very well. It's not always an easy experience for us holidaying as we have some special needs as a family but we found everything so well thought out, it minimised the meltdowns. We always choose this style of accomodation because it's spacious and each of our kids gets their own space, and we've now stayed in a few safari tents so we know what sets them apart! We stayed in Chaffinch, and from the basics to the extras it's thought through; lights on the deck on a timer, side lamps that are hand operated, a slow cooker, an air fryer, tea towels, washing up liquid, hand soap (you'd be surprised how often there's no tea towel or scourer). The bathroom is connected at the back, it's on the same level so there's no pulling your wellies back on to nip to the loo. The loo and shower are seperate. There is big play equipment outside for different aged kids to share (swingball and toy tractors, cricket bats, badminton) so when weather permits kids can take some body breaks. I could easily watch my child play from the tent or deck (cos it rained a lot). Lovely flat site, lovely mowed grass. Really amazing. Dawn chorus you set the standard!
