My husband and I stayed in The Den, 'S-Hertogenbosch, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel from Dec. 24 through Jan. 31. It was an enjoyable experience. 1. We booked the rooms with breakfast; it was great and reasonable. We took the prices, coffee maker in the room, free wifi, breakfast availability (due to the Christmas season), location (accessible to travel from the airport to hotel or other destinations, and public transportation nearby) under consideration. 2. The price was reasonable; four EU and U.S. families confirmed this statement. We all enjoyed staying at the Den as well. We booked the same hotel at various times, but all enjoyed staying at The Den. 3. The location is very convenient when traveling from AMS airport. We took the train to Den Bosch train station and then walked straight alone on the main road for less than 10 minutes. We also brought the elevator from the hotel to the crossing bridge to downtown; it was also less than 10 minutes. We also tried walking to the train station, downtown, and our family in under 15 to 20 minutes. Being close to the train allowed us to travel to other parts of Europe. 4. We traveled to Den Bosch to welcome our new family member. I booked the hotel with United. Airlines. However, I needed more clarification on the room description I booked via United. When we checked in on Dec. 24, 2023, the manager was accommodating and immediately resolved the discrepancy. We highly appreciated the manager's mastership in assisting us promptly. 5. The room was clean every day. 6. We got a daily water bottle in the room for making coffee. The coffee machine was a great help for our lifestyle. We got up early; the coffee machine was necessary for our daily routine, starting exceptionally early in the morning. 7. We had a family gathering in the rooftop bar and a big dinner in the restaurant on the first floor. The service members were friendly and helpful. Despite the identical food, we had breakfast daily on the first floor and were delighted with the quality. 8. To ensure we have food during Christmas time, we booked the rooms with breakfast. The continental breakfast was excellent. We were especially touched when we needed to travel to Germany at 5 a.m.; the hotel prepared a big breakfast for us on the road. So we were not hungry during the winding trip. Overall, people say personal adventure affects how one views a place. And this delightful experience certainly has changed our perspectives on The Den and Den Bosch.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Bank auf dem Balkon war leider sehr schmutzig (Vogelkot). Einige Gäste waren erst nach 24:00 halbwegs leise... Rezeption: einfach ganz toll: freundlich, schnell, zuvorkommend - Danke!!! Frühstück sehr gut, ausreichend Parkplätze, schönes, großes Zimmer mit allem, was man braucht. We waren zeer tevreden. Het bankje op het balkon was helaas erg vies (vogelpoep). Sommige gasten waren pas na 24.00 uur redelijk stil... Receptie: gewoon geweldig: vriendelijk, snel, meegaand - bedankt! Ontbijt zeer goed, voldoende parkeergelegenheid, mooie grote kamer met alles wat je nodig hebt.

Modernes und ansprechendes Hotel, ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze vor und neben dem Hotel vorhanden. Das Hotel verfügt über ein Restaurant und eine große Bar. Das Essen war gut, auch das Frühstück bot eine ausreichende Auswahl. Beim Frühstück war es teilweise problematisch einen freien Platz zu bekommen. Es waren mehrere Tische reserviert, aber es kam niemand. Auch wurden Tische erst sehr spät abgeräumt, so dass sie längere Zeit nicht nutzbar waren. Wir hatten die Präsidentensuite. Diese war sehr geräumig, bot eine große Eckcouch, eine freistehende Badewanne und eine riesige Doppeldusche. Das Hotel war sehr leise, Geräusche aus den Nachbarzimmer oder Flur haben wir nicht wahrgenommen.

Im Hotel standen Sie während einer Bustour für 2 Nächte. Es ist kein reguläres Hotel, sondern ein Landkomplex im Wald mit einem Bauernhof, ein Pferdrücke, Von Amsterdam, natürlich, weit entfernt (ca. 100 km), aber, erinnert an das Hotel, in dem es einmal in Amsterdam geblieben war (die Tasche im Zimmer war nicht ausgestattet), Und das, Das Hotel ist ein guter Ort, um für Tag 3 zu bleiben, fahren Sie mit dem Fahrrad, reisen Sie um die Dörfer (in Holland, jedes Dorf und die Stadt verdient Aufmerksamkeit). Aber wir mussten nur mit einer Unterkunft zufrieden sein - spät angekommen und früh links. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, es waren 2 Flaschen Wasser am Check-in, es gibt eine Kapsel Kaffeemaschine (keine Verwendung). Das Bett ist komfortabel, schneehaft. Frühstück mit frisch gepresstem Orangensaft, leckeres Backen ist anständig. Auch im Hotel können Sie essen, es gibt eine Bar, ein großer Parkplatz. Das Hotel empfiehlt, wenn Sie mit dem Auto reisen, aber natürlich nicht für die Beendigung der Prüfung Amsterdam oder Kekenhof.

Finally, Gorinchem has an excellent hotel, my 1st stay in the newly opened hotel was excellent, the impressive entrance and lobby, lead to a very nice restaurant and or bar, both of which are extremely comfortable. The room was as expected, very comfortable, quiet an had all the things I needed and all of the staff were I met were helpful, friendly and helped make this stay my 1st of many.

Outstanding Rooms class, really good Restaurant fantastic, had the Dutch prawns and fillet steak. The stroganoff sauce wasn’t a true stroganoff but tasty, breads and butters class Decent wine menu Manager is a lifetime here, really nice guy But star todays was the waitress, Juliette, she will go a very long way, superb attentive quality service, thank you Always stay here when I can, super parking, great staff

Es war unser 2 Besuch in Gilze und unser 6 Besuch in einem Van der Valk Hotel. Ich habe die App, reserviere immer darüber und kann dann auch gleich bezahlen. Somit geht es beim Einquecken sehr schnell und unbürokratisch. Da die Preise im Vergleich zum letzten Jahr doch ziemlich angezogen haben, haben wir für eine Nacht nur das billigste Zimmer genommen. Immer noch von guter Qualität. Betten waren sehr gut. Schönes Badezimmer mit Regendusche. Nepsressemaschine, Balkon. Gilze ist auch das bisher uns einzige bekannte Hotel Van der Valk, wo man die Zimmer vor 15 Uhr beziehen kann. Die anderen lassen einem immer warten. Somit waren wir um 14 Uhr im Restaurant und bestellten einen feinen Lunch. Die Auswahl ist gut und die Portionen sind nicht zu gross. Wir hatten einen Herrn im Service der Nett und freundlich war. Für das Nachtessen hatten wir bereits bei der Buchung des Zimmers einen Tisch reserviert. Leider setzte man uns in den dunkelsten Bereich. Das war etwas Schade. Bedient wurden wir von der gleichen Person wie am Mittag, der uns auch sofort den gleichen Wein brachte wie am Mittag. Das Essen ist gut, die Weinauswahl auch. Wir bestellten noch eine Flasche Wein um mit aufs Zimmer zu nehmen. Gekühlt mit 2 Gläsern. Sicher nicht Topp aber immer wieder gut.
