Over the years we have stayed frequently in Fort Payne. Unfortunately, there just isn't a good, affordable selection of motels to choose from there. We have seen or had undesirable problems, at all of the other motels in the area, so we won't stay a t them anymore. We have stayed at Super 8 several times over the last couple of years and have noticed a gradual trend downhill. We stayed there this last time on the night of Jan. 18th, 2022. I had called 2 hours ahead and ask for a King non-smoking on the first floor facing the parking lot. When we checked in, the first room they gave us, when I got to the room, the bed had not been made, I immediately left the room, so I didn't check anything else. The housekeeper caught me and told me they had just sprayed all the rooms for bugs and that room had them bad, so they hadn't moved the bed back and made it yet. He asked me to give them a few minutes. He then came out to the parking lot and told me they were going to give me a room on the second floor, so the bug spray smell would not be so bad. We came in got the key and went to our room, he was coming out, said he was there to make sure it was ready for us. We were very disappointed. This is the first time that I have ever had to clean my own bathroom in a motel room. It was disgusting, I have to wonder how long it has been since it has been cleaned. Pictures attached. Also before we left, there was a German Roach sitting on the air conditioner, staring me in the eyes. I sure hope we didn't carry any home with us. We have never had any roaches in our home. When we got here, I unpacked one piece of luggage at a time from outside trying to watch for bugs. Yuck. Needless to say, we will never stay here again. Very disappointed in this location. We don't usually find a Super 8 that we will stay at and most probably will never again.

Mein Mann, meine Großmutter und ich standen auf unserem Weg nach Chattanooga für einen Übernachtungsaufenthalt. Ihre Preise sind sehr vernünftig. Nicht viel Fluff ein Frills, aber wir alle hatten eine tolle Nacht schlafen! Ich sah das Personal nicht viel, weil wir spät ankommen und früh aufreisen. Sehr sauber. Würde empfehlen. Würde wieder bleiben.

Saubere und komfortable Zimmer. Keine unerfreulichen Überraschungen.
