"The hotel is a beautifully restored hove (300 years old) but with all the comforts. Mateo and his wife do everything to make it you as comfortable as possible. Fully off grid but everything is present, even a small pool to seek refreshment at hmmmm 38 degrees. Also a sauna, fitness room, snooker, table tennis and table football. There are no extreme temperatures there, just not a fixed air-conditioning but Mateo had specially placed a mobile air-conditioning to keep the temperature in our room quiet, and the thick walls helped. Breakfast is made outside or under the terrace with a magnificent view of the surrounding area. And everything is produced by yourself or from a local farm. Degustate and degustate deluxe so. Thx Mateo for the beautiful 4 days."

Das Tal von Lastur und Casa Goikola sind von Hexengeschichte ... Mehr kann man nicht beantragen (gut, es ist näher an Madrid ... - oder besser noch, Madrid ist näher an Haus Goikola jaja ...). Eine Embrasse, Carmen und Familie. Sie sind wunderbar. Ich komme zurück!"

"My wife and I had booked a few days in tue Basque Country, Northern Spain. We flew to Bilboa and intended to drive to the city of San Sebastián. However we thought it would also be nice to have a couple of nights in a rural part before San Sebastián. We found Txindurri iturri Sagardotegia and thought it would be wonderful and so it turned out. Txindurri iturri is a cider farm with beautiful cider to sample and enjoy. The food is also excellent and our hosts were wonderful. A great find and not to be missed when visiting the basque region."

"We stayed one night in August on our way to the ferry at Bilbao. The hotel is very simple but comfortable with fantastic views out over the Bay of Biscay. The food was excellent beautifully cooked fish and a great steak. The staff are very helpful. This is a family run hotel in its 4th generation. Grandfather still does the cooking while his granddaughter was running reception and bar."
