"I had previously stayed at this pub last year and found it to be exactly what I required for an overnight stay so used it again this year for another overnight stay whilst in the area. It is value for money and a really friendly place used by lots of locals. all the staff and owner/manager are extremely helpful and make you feel at home the beer and food are good quality and reasonably priced I stayed in room 1 at the top of the stairs and like some people have stated there is some noise from the bar area but only what is to be expected when staying in a pub. Next time I am in the area I will be staying again."

"Der Gastgeber hat mich gegrüßt, als ich ankam und war freundlich und informativ. Ich hatte ein Zimmer "um den Rücken", das sauber und angenehm war. Ich liebe es, dass es kein Fernseher war - so erfrischend - und das Badezimmer war ähnlich spotless mit einer guten Dusche. Seife statt Gel war eine weitere Überraschung. Schampo und Klimaanlage waren betrunken. Das Bett war komfortabel. Sehr schöne Handtücher. Ich ging früh am Morgen vor dem Frühstück."
