Beware this place is not of the standard you would expect from Travelodge ,we have stayed st some quality T/L's but this one is not one , its nothing like a ” resort ” ( maybe back a couple of decades ago ) the place is like an overgrown rainforest , dead foliage everywhere dirty mildew paths , two pools, the main one open till late but unlit ,quite dangerous actually , both had spas (as advertised ) but non operating with no controls to be found ( and no staff to ask ) poolside Bar ( yes it has one ) but never open , no food no poolside service ( cans of coke at the reception ) resteraunt closed and not available except breakfast . Our room which was quite expensive ( we were happy to pay , after all its supposed to be a 4 star resort ). (LOL) room was likened to a 70s country motel you use for a sleep over , only 2 power plugs beside bed , one was extremely dangerous ,, and had black fixing marks around the points and plug kept falling out , not able to charge phones , mildew in shower and around fridge , no views of anything except mould around the carpark shades , we were booked for tours 6am out front for three days and 9 pm return , to early for the breakfast room, to late to go anywhere for tea , and this part of Darwin is a bid dodgy at that time of night , the T/L is located directly opposite woollies however a large mod of traditional owners hang around the entrance to BWS and a few guards , this is where we got our late night tea from ( only option) The ”resort ” is a gated hotel , thank god management did not fix the mould or the dangerous plug , they offered a room change at a extra $30/40 apx , but a smokers room it stunk , we offered $20 a night for it and they said no , all in all we loved our trip to Darwin but this hotel was very disappointing ( and I'm restraining from saying what it really wad like believe me) they offered us a $400 credit for our issues but because we booked through a travel agent , that was not possible , a bottle of wine was offered , we don't drink wine, do the other offer wad 2 ,TWO cans of coke ., so make your own mind up whether you would bother to stay there

My stay here was marred by the unnecessarily long check in process involving paperwork that could have been done electronically during the booking process - and my ongoing annoyance at being charged an additional $100 security bond at check in. All in the middle of the night, for a prepaid booking. Was assured the $100 would be refunded the next day, but 5 days later it hasn't been. Phoned the reception to enquire and was told by a rude receptionist that it was my banks problem and that they are entitled to charge this fee ”in case I damaged the room”. I haven't ever been charged more than a $1 holding fee before, so am not impressed with this ”management policy”, particularly given the room was prepaid. The actual room was clean and comfortable, a light breakfast is included which is good value. Parking is an additional charge - it would be very difficult to park here with a large 4WD, the spaces are tiny. I'm really disappointed that the management processes seem to be all about not trusting guests and making staying there a complex process...it's actually a nice hotel that is thoughtfully set up for short stay travellers, but I left with a bad feeling and feel sorry for the night reception staff who have to enforce ”policy”. Everywhere these days there are signs up about abuse not being tolerated...being combative towards paying customers isn't helpful.

Die Mitarbeiter waren willkommen und freundlich. Dinushka Goonathalake blickte uns sehr gut an. Nachdem wir in der letzten Woche für eine Konferenz geblieben waren, waren wir am meisten schätzen ein schönes Zimmer, das auf dem Park geöffnet wurde und auf unsere Rückkehr aus dem Abenteuer in Arnem Land ausblickte. Unser Zimmer war immer frisch und leicht, das Badezimmer modern. Wir schätzten den Zugang zum offenen Luft aus dem kleinen Balkon. Es wurde eine gute Auswahl an Teen geliefert. Die Atmosphäre war entspannt, passt Darwins tropisches Gefühl. Frisch zubereitetes Frühstück auf der Terrasse oder im Innenbereich und ausgezeichneter Kaffee verfügbar, wenn gewünscht. Einfach zugängliches Frühstücks- und Abendsport im Park entlang der Bucht bis zur Stadt und nahe gelegene Restaurants war ein zusätzlicher Bonus.

Von der Zeit, die wir anmelden, bis zur Zeit, die wir die Rezeption Personal war freundlich und hilfreich konnten sie nicht (schöne Damen) sehr geräumig 1 Schlafzimmer Wohnung sehr sauber großer Balkon sowohl Stadt als auch Ozean. Es war nicht fehlerhaft das sehr schöne Haus halten Mitarbeiter unsere Wohnung wurde jeden Tag mit frischen Handtüchern, Bett gemacht, Gepäckentfernung. Betrachtet als ich meine Unterkunft es sagte, Wohnungen nur jeden dritten Tag Ihrer Aufenthalt bedient. Da es eine Bar/Hotel gibt, gab es keinen lauten Lärm in den Nächten. Restaurantmenü ist Preis für Geld. Buffet Frühstück ist grundsätzlich ($20 wenn Sie ein Ticket von der Hotelrezeption gekauft) würde es lieben, das a la carte Frühstückmenü zurück zu sehen. Mein Partner und ich haben in diesem Hotel viele Male geblieben und wir sind sehr beeindruckt, dass insgesamt würde jeder 😀 voll empfehlen

Great stay at Cullen Bay Resort. We were well looked after by the friendly staff.

I loved staying here it was an absolutely beautiful Apartment. Very clean and tidy heaps of room and so close to everything. I definitely will be staying here when I come into town for the weekend. Thank you ❤️

Wir haben diesen Park im Grunde aufgrund von Bewertungen und Kommentaren gewählt und waren nicht enttäuscht. Sehr guter Park, sauber mit Ablutionen und anderen Einrichtungen sauber und in guter Zustand, Eine Frage ist, dass Toilettenkuppeln könnte größere sein, so dass Sie nicht zu laufen, um die Tür zu schließen, Wir fanden alle Mitarbeiter, die wir behandelt, freundlich und Sehr hilfreich. Unsere Website war eine gute Größe und leicht zu bekommen. Wir waren ihre während Operation Pitch Black und wurden jeden Morgen nach 8:00am mit dem Klang der Schreien Jets Figs ausgehen geweckt. Es war wunderbar und wir haben viele Videos und Fotos. Der Caravan Park ist sehr nahe an der Flughafen-Lange, die es laut machen kann, wenn die Luftwaffe abstürzt, aber wir liebten es. Lage war ein bisschen aus der Stadt, aber wir dachten, es war perfekt. 15 Minuten Fahrt zum Zentrum von Darwin. Liebte unser Aufenthalt hier und wir werden definitiv hier wieder buchen, wenn nächste in Darwin

Ich mag den Garten und sitzen in der Nacht statt die meisten Hotels Sie haben nur ein Zimmer vielleicht ein Balkon, aber mit dem Garten um Sie ist es großartig

Lovely check in by a sweet Asian lady and was so very pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to an expansive 2-bedroom apartment instead of the 1 we paid for. There was a really warm, hospitable and super friendly gentleman (not sure of his name, he is Indian and I believe has a name beginning with M... accept my apologies please!), he was extremely quick to help both at the carpark when we checked in and with our lift at check out. These are marks of great hospitality and creates moments which make returning a must. The kitchen was unbelievably well set up, and the washing machine and dryer was the best part for us as it was the end of our Top End trip. Thank You Quest, you far exceeded all expectations!! WHY on earth would anyone stay in a hotel room?!
