The Ship in Dock Inn

Very friendly welcome, lovely room and great breakfast. The Ship in Dock is a great place to base yourself for visits in and around Dartmouth. The team were great and made sure we had everything we needed. We only stayed for one night but would certainly stay again.

We stayed 2 days, with Storm Darragh hitting on our second night! We received a most friendly welcome when we arrived. The room was warm, comfortable, clean and cosy as was the rest of this wonderful small hotel. The staff were friendly and engaging. The breakfast was amazing. We were also impressed by the way nothing had been forgotten or neglected in the bedroom - a hair drier, a bottle of fresh milk in the fridge for the tea and coffee, and a well stocked mini-bar (not free of course). There was also an iron and board on the landing. It was also tremendous value for money. This was a wonderful find and we hope to return. Incidentally, we needlessly worried about parking as out of season there are no restrictions to parking in the street - it’s free!

Highly recommend this Hotel. Great location, very clean well equipped rooms. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty . The staff couldn’t of been more helpful. Lots of extra special touches . We Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely stay with a very warm, friendly welcome. The breakfast was very good with lots of options and nothing was too much trouble to accommodate. The room was beautifully decorated with a fabulous bathroom. Great views from the bedroom window. Thanks for looking after us!

Recommended. Stayed two nights. Great room, superb bathroom, excellent breakfast, friendly greeting and great service.....and a rather unusual kettle. They even provide little plastic wedges for the antique sash windows if they rattle in the wind. Parking is a problem,but it's the same everywhere in Dartmouth.

Fantastic little gem of a place located just outside, but within a 5 minute walk of the busiest part of Dartmouth. Fantastic comfortable, spacious and clean rooms, and a great breakfast. From the moment we got there we felt treated like family. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again on our next visit to Dartmouth.
