Premier Inn Darlington Town Centre

Stayed for 1 night as a single traveller. Parking conveniently attached to the hotel but privately run and no discount for hotel guests. Initially I was happy with the room. I was put in an accessibility room although I didn’t need it. The room had a very old “chemical” smell which as the night went on, seemed to get worse. I felt sick during the night and the next day had an awful head ache. My clothing even the next evening smelt of the chemical. To add to this there was a humming sound all night which did not go away. It almost sounded like an air conditioning unit which would turn off. The bed was comfortable but in terms of size not long enough. I am only 5 foot 6 but found the bed too short. Sadly I won’t be retuning based on my experience.

Very clean hotel close to the Hippodrome . Good car park behind the hotel . Our room was very comfortable & clean. The staff here are lovely especially Clare who couldn’t do enough for customers & nothing was too much trouble . Will definitely stay here again .

Stayed here for the theatre, just over the road. Comfortable room and good breakfast and friendly service. Parking in the multi storey preferable to the park under the hotel. Right next to busy road but no noise in the room. Shame they don't have premier plus rooms here yet.

Went to hipperdrone for show and stayed for one night, all staff we met were very helpful, and pleasant. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. We also booked in for breakfast, first time we had done this, it was exceptional plenty of choice breakfast was fresh and hot. Thanks to everyone for making our visit enjoyable see you soon

Really comfortable bed and room. Very polite and helpful staff. The dining area was very busy and several people had to wait for a table at breakfast; however, the food and selection was excellent. Staff cleared tables as quickly considering there was only 2 of them. Thank you.

Excellent night's sleep. Close to the centre of Darlington, some close to amenities, as well as other evening / eating options. Restaurant onsite, so no need to leave the building for breakfast. Also, close to the train station. Enjoyable stay.
