We stayed at Cochrane Place Hotel for 4 nights to celebrate my birthday. The place and the service made it an unforgettable birthday and a memorable trip! The deluxe room was fantastic, tastefully decorated with modern upgraded bathrooms. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The overall hotel decor gave it a cozy historic lodge-like feel amidst the fluffy clouds that drifted through the large terrace. We loved the vistas, tranquility and serenity. The food was just outstanding - simple, homey, and finger-licking delicious! But it was really the kindness, warmth and extreme professionalism of every single staff member that was the highlight for us. Starting with Sabin, who drove us all over (tea gardens, pine forests and other beautiful spots), to the kitchen manager, to Priti at Reception, to Sahil at the restaurant, everyone at Cochrane made our comfort and enjoyment their priority. The manager Mr Kang was always extremely responsive to our every question and every need, with all his suggestions grounded in his deep knowledge of the area. All in all, an outstanding experience! We are already talking about our next stay at Cochrane. :)

I was there with my family and in-laws last week. We faced a very challenging situation during return, our flights got canceled due to Remal Cyclone, came to know in the late evening before the departure next day . A chaos and dilemma! The front office immediately arranged TWO SUV’s for our return to Calcutta within an hour !!! Considering the crisis , they were unbelievably efficient. Their GM was up and running early morning to see our safe departure. Can’t thank them enough !!!
