Excellent support and praiseworthy service of the hotel staffs..Special mention about Front Desk manager Sree and Adarsh Rai, who have helped a lot in recovering my wife’s lost sweater. The location is very convenient and would love to visit again soon for a nice experience.Would also recommend it to future travellers..A must lookout property.

Please find below my worst experience at this hotel. I stayed in the new wing which is not in the existing hotel but on the other side of the road. The staff here is highly untrained and have no sense of hospitality. 1. When asked for mineral water, I was given regular water by the staff and they billed me for mineral water. 2. Asked for butter roti plain roti was provided. 3. Wifi was not working in the new wing. 4. Intercom was not working since the wire got cut during drain cleaning, but no information was provided at the reception. 5. Bed room had 2 pillars in the middle of the room which was blocking the view of TV. Pls check picture uploaded. 6. Old furniture is used in new wing. cheap quality mattress was used and quilt had molds. Mattress was rick hard and quilt was torn from the middle. 7. There was no reception or person available in the new wing when intercom was not working so I had to go to the main hotels reception across the street to ask why it's not working. 8. No medicine, medical help is available in and near the hotel. For basic medicine I had to visit the nearby hospital. 9. Room was lacking basic ventilation with no fan for air circulation. So it's my suggestion to avoid staying in this hotel.

The location of the Resort is superb as it is on the Mall Road and 5 minutes walk from the Darjeeling Mall. We booked two rooms from 27-30th Dec 2024. The view of snow peaks was excellent from the rooms. One room was on 3rd and the other on 6th floor. Upto 4th floor, lift is available, above that no lift facility. So, careful about aged persons while booking your rooms. Rooms are clean and well spacious. But service is not up to the mark.

The location of the hotel is perfect.. close to mall road and 2 mins walk to glenarys. We were 3 families with senior citizens and small kids and had booked directly from their website 3 premium rooms with mountain view. Allthese rooms were on the 5th and 6th floor . The view was amazing but the rooms were soo small and not as per picture and photo shown in the website. Only room no 310 was as the picture shown in their website for premium rooms. Others were small and congested. We had asked for room heaters and surprisingly they charged extra for the same. Room no 309 310 windows had gap in them and continuously cold wind was coming inside and the room was always cold. These premium rooms are located in the 5th and 6th floor and lifts are available only till floor 4th. The steps are not of standard size and very big... Very difficult for kids and seniors citizens to climb. Hot water wasn't available initially inroom no 309 but then later after lots of call to reception the same was repaired. Exhaust of the bathroom is to the walking are of the floor and so people walking there can have an amazing fragrance 🙄

Warm reception,Wonderful services , Best and fresh prepared food , extra polite staff , . Sweet &respect full behaviour of staff. Excellently clean ,senetised room service and House keeping . I will prefer of send stay of my family alone , if I am busy elsewhere this hotel safe and secure . I stayed at this property recently with my parents. The hotel with its wooden floors and interiors provides a cozy ambience perfect for the chilly weather we experienced. The staff were quite understanding and took care of our smallest need from providing food as per our preferences to making sure that we feel warm and even lit up the fire in our room's fireplace. One thing that impressed me was the immediate action that was taken when we experienced some flooding in our bathroom. They repaired it within 15-20 mins. Overall I would sum up the experience by saying it was a home away from home. Thank you

The approach of hotel to the mall road is easy,can enjoy hustle bustle of the mall whenever feel like , when back a soothing tone of piano welcome you ,can relax , food is so homely and provide all your necessarity,staff of the hotel are very welcoming , readily giving their services

The hotel is near to Mall Road…everything is easily accessible…staff are very cooperative, polite n friendly….we had breakfast n lunch…Food was awesome…overall is was a great choice for comfortable stay in Darjeeling at central heritage resort n spa

A memorable experience at the hotel. Excellent location n interior of the room n restaurant n other amenities. Very good breakfast with good spread and fruits etc with good choices. We got items in lunch and dinner as per our choices. Very serene atmosphere within the hotel.

I had gone with my family members to Central Heritage Resort & Spa, Darjeeling hotel and had a good experience staying in the hotel. The hotel has a feel of old heritage and grandeur. The rooms are huge in size and staying in hotel brings a feeling of royalty and plus you get more than you bargained for in terms of hospitality, customer service, fooding, cleanliness, staff behaviour, etc. The hotel has lots to offer for kids in terms of playroom and my kids really loved spending time in the hotel. It also has majestic firewood place in rooms which is something rare to find in hotels for a cosy evening time with your dear ones. The hotel is centrally located and near to the main market and is easily accessible. Nothing to complain of as my stay ticked all the checkboxes of a good quality hotel at a fairly reasonable price and I would surely recommend this hotel to my friends and relatives and am sure looking forward to my next visit.

The only advantage of this property is its location, and that's all. The rooms are miniscule. The photos you see advertised everywhere are all photoshopped. The only thing bigger than the rooms here is the gap between their promises and reality. The website mentions that an elevator is available in the annex building, but they don't mention that it's only for the first 3 floors. Room service is the lousiest (I think they outsource it), and the front desk is more eager to sell tour plans than provide solutions. Oh, and the 'complimentary breakfast'? A comical performance of chaos and confusion. In short, this hotel is a lesson in how not to run a hotel. Trust me, you'll thank me later."

HORRIBLE AND TERRIBLE experience, trust me there are far more better and good options available in Darjeeling. We had booked 3 Deluxe rooms, however it turned out to be ordinary rooms. All 3 rooms window faces public toilets and all 3 rooms was nothing less than stink hole. More over no AC and Fan makes it more difficult. We saw dead cockroaches, live spiders and this made whole experience a nightmare. We requested for change of rooms, however were denied rudely by Frontdesk stating we are over booked. Don’t think the management here is any concerned about the experience of Customers. Inspite of knowing these issues they make guest stay. They are only concerned with profiteering out of this opportunity. Worst place I have ever stayed in my 20 years on a vacation with my family.

Our stay at this hotel was a huge disappointment, especially given its reputation as a former ITC property. Upon arrival, we were dismayed to find our rooms not in the main building but in a separate, dilapidated structure that resembled a local lodge. The rooms were situated above a garage in a filthy, unhygienic environment—dark, stuffy, and reeking of dampness. The lack of cleanliness and ventilation made the space almost unbearable, with smelly, suffocating rooms that were far from the standards we expected. I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to avoid it at all costs unless you want to ruin your vacation. It felt like we were completely deceived by the management’s false representation.

We stayed at this hotel between Oct 16 and 19, 2024. The hotel could not provide the rooms that were booked as they were overbooked and we had to adjust with other rooms. The most disappointing part of the experience happened on the night of Oct 18. The hotel had taken corporate bookings and 50% of the hotel was occupied by employees of a particular corporate who had some event in the hotel and that created a lot of commotion for the other guests in the hotel as the group was very noisy. During night time post 10 pm when most guests were retired to their rooms, a group of employees from this particular group who were completely drunk started creating extreme nuisance by hurling abuses and slangs amongst themselves, shouting abuses and using un- parliamentary language in the corridors, slamming the doors of other guests and in the process creating an overall ambience of huliganism in a family hotel. This continued for hours. My kid was sleeping in the next room and she woke up in a frightened state of mind with all this happening suddenly and could not sleep until very late that night. We complained at the reception initially only to find out that there were no senior representative from the hotel present at the premises at that point in time. There was no security personnel at the hotel to manage the situation. Several other guests also complained and no action was taken. There was no manager available at the hotel to take care of the situation. Group of kitchen staff and other staff informed that the manager named Suman will only be available next morning. This was completely unacceptable from such a reputed group who has the experience of running hotel for such a long time. No manager or any other senior representative to manage and take care of the situation. No concern for the safety and security of the guests in the hotel. No action being taken for such huliganism created by a group which caused so much inconvenience to all other guests and no enforcement of any rules by the hotel for such serious breach of decorum and decency. Either the hotel management being super complacent pays no heed to all of this and hence had no manager in the hotel to take care of guests or the manager simply skipped his duty without the knowledge of the management and in the process his negligence raised a security concern for other guests at the hotel. All guests should know of the state of affairs at this hotel so that no one else needs to face the situation we had to face during a family trip at this property. Pls make a considered decision next time you consider booking this property for your future stays. We were left red faced with such poor service and absolute mismanagement.
