I spent one night in the Chelsea Hotel to do some sightseeing in Dar and it was very good for that purpose. The hotel was a little bit dated, but otherwise completely up to the standards which I expect from a hotel. It's located not far from the clock tower, which to my understanding pinpoints the centerpoint of the city. The actual sights I went to see started further away, about 20 minutes by foot. The room was adequate in size and had good aircon. I had a twin room. I first tried sleeping in the bed further away from the aircon, but the air blew directly there, so I had to move to the bed right under the aircon unit. The hotel was located close to a busy road and the honking of the cars could be heard up to the sixth floor. However it wasn't bad. The breakfast was ok. It didn't have a very wide selection, but the items I tried were tasty and of good quality. Also the setting in the restaurant was pleasant. The only negative I have to say is the extraorbitant exchange rate. I had paid my room rate in advance, but I had to pay the city tax (1.50 USD) at the hotel. I asked to pay in Tsh and had to pay 7000 Tsh, equivalent to about 3$. My loss was only 1.50$, so it wasn't a big deal in my case, but the principle left a bad taste in my mouth. If the room rate would have been 1.50$ higher but the city tax 3500 Tsh, I would have left as a happy customer. The hotel offered airport transfer for 42000 Tsh. It was quite pricy. The fixed price at the official taxi stand at the airport was 30000 Tsh. On the way back to the airport I used a rideshare app to get my transfer, it cost Tsh 12000.

Die Zimmer waren sehr gemütlich und freundlich, mit einem Fernseher, einem Minibar und einem Klimaanlage. Die Toiletten waren sehr sauber und sanitiert und Handtücher auch geräuchert, wie sie gut gewaschen wurden. Ich mag es, dass das Hotel in der Stadt mit einem engen Zugang zu einer Vielzahl wichtiger Orte, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ist. Ich war in einem nicht rauchenden Zimmer und konnte Rauchen aus anderen Zimmern stinken. Ich habe die Rezeption gebeten, mein Zimmer zu ändern, was sie getan haben.

I am very satisfied with the facilities as well as the services. The room was clean and spacey. For the breakfast, you can taste the Spanish omelette just cooked. The employees at the bar are very kind and polite. The laundry service was also very good. Clothes were delivered clean and well-folded. The security is also good since the inter elevator is separated from the outer one. The genera manager is the best. He is always willing to help you kindly, politely and well-mannered. I will definitely recommend this hotel and be back when a chance is given. Great to stay 😊

Die Zimmer sind auch gut hygienisch, es gibt einige Abgelegenheiten, die Service-Einstellung ist auch gut, die Umgebung ist auch gut, es gibt drahtlose, kann man waschen und auch kostenloses Frühstück.

Meine Erfahrung war gut. Ich wurde vom Flughafen zum Hotel gepflegt. Die Rezeption war hervorragend. Die Mahlzeiten, die Freundlichkeit des Personals, die Reinigung waren hervorragend. Nur eine Situation von Wasser, das im Badezimmer, im Zimmer, in dem ich war, lief, das fast zu einem schweren Unfall führte. Aber der Aufenthalt war großartig.

Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel, das Personal war sehr auf unser Wohlbefinden aufmerksam. Unverletzliche Reinigung. Gute Lage, nahe dem Strand und es ist und ziemlich einfach, den Hafen zu erreichen, um die Boote zu Zanzibar. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

I enjoy my stay at Euro hotel the place is smart and quiet.The food is good and the staff are very much welcome especially the girl by the name Alice at the reception,she is very much welcoming and very sociable.She is a very good character.The only thing that needs to be improved is DStv channels on TV ,I like soccer so much that I need to have DStv next time I visit.

Die anderen sind gut, die Lage ist unsachgemäß, vor dem Hafen ist die schöne Landschaft! Die Einrichtungen sind auch relativ neu und bequem zu bekommen. Besonders die Schalenfische im 8. Stock sind wirklich die beste, die ich je gegessen habe! Der Wäscheservice ist ein Problem, die Zahnfleisch hat drei Mal gebraucht, zwei müssen einen gebrauchen! Die erste Tageszeit ist verschwunden! Einmalschlepper sind auch das erste Mal verwendet, um nicht neu zu wechseln! Einmalschlepper sind langfristig! Ein weiterer Nachteil ist, dass die Wifi-Geschwindigkeit zu langsam ist und die blaue Uhr unter dem Fernseher zu spürbar ist.

Die Umgebung ist wunderschön, der Strand ist draußen, kostenlose Parkplätze, Flughafentransfers sind kostenpflichtig, was in den Vororten liegt. Dieses Hotel bietet Full-Service-Einrichtungen, darunter Massage, Fitness, Schwimmen, Karaoke usw. und allgemeine englische Konversation!
