Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Danville Va ★★

"Kudos to Ian, the front desk clerk when we arrived. He's delightful. But unfortuately our room (#106) had an A/C problem and we froze through 64 degrees all night. Ian suggested we turn off the A/C completely or even turn it on to Heat, but nothing helped. We tried to get assistance again around 9:15 p.m. but no one answered the front desk phone. We finally got a manager around 8:30 a.m. who had to completely disable the system in that room, but we were leaving anyway. The duvets were nice and heavy so we were able to sleep, but walking around in the room was uncomfortable since we hadn't brought any winter clothes. :-) The wine and beer bar was nice and very reasonable. This was our first time at a Microtel."
