Blue Marlin Beach Resort

The Blue Marlin Beach Resort was an absolutely perfect place for our honeymoon! My wife loves scuba diving but gets kind of seasick on long boat rides - being able to get to truly phenomenal reef dives in 5-10 minutes was a game-changer for her. Amir is such a remarkable dive master - calm, knowledgeable, observant, thorough - it made the whole experience an undiluted pleasure from start to finish. The resort itself could not have been more ideal. It was so peaceful and quiet, and the food at every meal was delightful, without exception - Cus is a very talented chef. We had some of the best massages of our lives right out next to the water, with the sound of the waves the whole time - really magical. The entire staff was friendly, open, and welcoming. We were very sorry to leave and eager to return!

I have been coming here with my family every summer from 2018 to now, this resort is an amazing getaway and vacation spot we always have tons of fun snorkeling , fishing, scuba diving, and doing land activities. The food always taste amazing and all the staff are so kind.

My trip to Blue Marlin was perfection. Our room was spotless and comfortable, dining was relaxing and delicious, snorkeling was AMAZING and the tiny island was exactly what we were hoping for. We’re off the beaten path travelers but more “outsidey” than outdoorsy. Blue Marlin was just the right amount of comfort and adventure. We considered other places to stay on south water caye but I’m so glad we stayed at Blue Marlin. No, there’s no beach on the immediate property for wading but there’s beach access just a short walk away. I promise you won’t miss it! Do prepare for the sand fleas and take lots of bug spray- they show no mercy! It’s been a month since our trip and I am still missing morning coffee looking out over the water. The staff even surprised us with a very special anniversary dinner and cake. No detail is overlooked - Blue Marlin is an absolute treat.

Blue Marlin is truly a family run resort (in the most positive way)! I spent a week with my son diving the reef and the care and attention we received from the staff was amazing! The staff is passionate about delivering a great experience and went out of their way to make sure that happened. Diving- Each site is really close and we were diving by ourselves all the time Food- The food is very good and the chef is passionate about how to make our experience the best Resort- The resort is very well maintained and beautiful

We did 2 dives off the resort with their excellent dive master Stacy. Spectacular dives! Sharks, turtles, eagle rays, and so much more. Can't wait to come back for a long stay! We will definitely include in our next Belize adventure. Enjoy and have fun!

The moment stepping off the boat onto the island it felt like I was in a dream. Friendly Blue Marlin Staff greeted us with delicious drinks(made by Sasha, mixologist guru)and warm towels for our faces(from Estella, amazing waitress). Walked a short 5 minutes to our ocean front cabana and quickly realized we could see the Barrier Reef only 25 yards out. We were lucky to catch the epic sunset from the outdoor seating area while enjoying the tastiest food ever. My husband and I enjoyed our daily snorkeling around the docks(in warm, great visibility water), where we saw a wide variety of fish. And relaxing at our cabana listening to the sounds of the palm trees rustle through the wind with the sun soothing our souls. Received a very relaxing oceanside massage while my husband went out and explored the reef on the s.u.p. Had fun learning about the history of the resort and island from the owner Roselia and laughing while I picked out souvenirs from their great selection. We went on 3 snorkel trips out to the reef, longest boat ride was 10 minutes. Captain Tommy, Guide Moses, Johnny, Staci and Mike all made me feel so at ease. Safety was their top concern while we were in the water and they were always in sight if we needed help. There is so much more to say about this place that make it very special for husband and I. But would encourage those looking for a relaxing, fun, safe, memorable, beautiful, personalized, non touristy, and truly authentic experience, consider making the journey here. It is worth every car, plane and boat ride to get there. I left Blue Marlin Resort not only with the most amazing memories that I will treasure for years to come with my husband but left feeling like I gained a second family.
