Geräuscharme Lage und Traumhaftes Ambiente inmitten der Altstadt von Damaskus, nicht unweit dem ehemaligen jüdischen Viertel. Perfekter vollumfänglicher Service in allen Bereichen, dazu schmackhafte syrische Küche. Vollkommen zurecht ein Hotel mit 5-Sternen.

Wunderbar schönes Hotel, super freundliches Personal, zentral gelegen, sauber, gutes Essen, es hätte nicht schöner sein können! Ein Platz zum Wohlfühlen und Relaxen, mitten in der einzigartigen Altstadt in Damaskus. Wärmstens zu empfehlen!!!!

Ein wunderschönes Hotel im Riad-Stil mit einem kühlen Innenhof, wo der Springbrunnen plätschert. Die Zimmer sind alle individuell und mit viel Geschmack mit historischen Möbeln eingerichtet, die Bäder neu und mit guten Produkten ausgestattet. Das Personal ist unglaublich zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Höhepunkt ist das reichhaltige traditionelle Frühstück. Es gibt keinen besseren Ort, die Altstadt von Damaskus zu erkunden und sich gleichzeitig in der Zeit zurückzuwähnen.

I couldn't speak more highly of this place. They make the 5 stars noticeable at every turn, starting with the attentive reception and a fresh juice. Everything in the hotel is spacious and elegant; the central courtyard is a beautiful space to relax. I really appreciated the option to try different pillows, which I hadn't encountered anywhere else on my current trip. The breakfast is also very good. Last but not least, the staff is incredibly friendly.

Everything was perfect, it felt like home, very nice staff and service, calm and cozy feeling, really enjoyed every second… The breakfast was yummy everyday, and the neighborhood is central near Bab Touma, yet a bit hidden, giving it a quiet vibe which was perfect, you could only hear the fountain. Would be staying again for sure

There’s a reason this place has great reviews - it’s one of the most unique, delightful, lovingly crafted hotels I’ve stayed at. Professionally and meticulously cared for and staffed, expect a lovely and safe stay here at this hotel. It’s in a great location with major sites of old Damascus within a walks distance.

Beit Zafran is everything you could wish for in a hotel. It is aesthetically stunning, from the flower-filled fountain in the central courtyard to the ceilings and wardrobes in the rooms. Even the breakfast is beautiful (and delicious). Every member of the team is kind and responsive. The location is also perfect: right in the Old City, but tucked away in a quiet corner and close enough to Bab Touma that it's easy to get in and out by taxi. Can't recommend highly enough!

The place is georgous: an old house that kept its beauty and has been renovated with taste and all modern comfort. The team is wonderful: professional, dedicated, extremely supportive and never intrusive. It is very well located: in a perfectly calm street, a few minutes walk from the main attractions, in a very safe and animated neighbourhood. I look forward to visiting again!

Beit Zafran Hotel is a beautifully restored Ottoman mansion in the heart of Damascus Old Town. Its location is perfect—just a short walk from major sites, markets, and cafes. The hotel blends historical charm with modern comfort, offering a truly unique atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, always ready to help and make sure I felt at home. From the peaceful courtyard to the warm hospitality, everything about my stay was wonderful. If you’re looking for an authentic and welcoming experience in Damascus, I highly recommend staying at Beit Zafran.
