Hotel Riverside

Nicht das beste, das wir je hatten. Wir sind an kleine Zimmer gewöhnt, aber dieses war, gelinde gesagt, eng. Wir nehmen die Küchenspüle nicht mit, aber die Aufbewahrung ließ zu wünschen übrig. Wir haben überhaupt nicht gut geschlafen. Das hat uns einfach nicht gefallen, manche mögen den Ort offensichtlich und kommen jedes Jahr wieder. Die Leute waren im Großen und Ganzen recht freundlich, aber das hat uns einfach nicht gefallen. Dalyan scheint auch ein Problem mit Handtüchern auf den Sonnenliegen zu haben – nicht nur dieses Hotel. Ich verstehe eine Renovierung für 2025, die teilweise nötig ist. Fand den Fußweg entlang des Flusses und um das Hotel herum teilweise gefährlich zum Begehen. Schöne Lage entlang des Flusses. Pool auch eine Tiefe, was uns nicht bewusst war.

I’ve stayed here twice. The pool area and location are both positives but, unless you’re in one of the new rooms, the accommodation is pretty bad. First time I stayed I was put into an appalling room - totally different to the pictures - which are of the new rooms. Holes in ceiling and door, filthy shower, dangerous electrics. After alot of complaints I was moved to one of the new rooms which is totally different and very nice. I visited again afew months later and booked a new room. On arrival I was put into an old room but with no option to move. I recommended the hotel to friends on the basis that they make sure they’re in a new room. Despite numerous comms from the hotel confirming this, they were put in an old room on arrival. Sadly - it seems they over promise and under deliver. Hotel Turay next door is about the same price and much better.

The location of Hotel Riverside is just amazing. Absolutely stunning. The pool area is lovely though lacks a choice of shade, either all or nothing so it would be better for umbrellas to be available. The staff were friendly, the barside food was good. Breakfast was very hit and miss; if you don't get there early, forget it, it's gone! Very little choice, some days were better than others but overall disappointing. However the MAIN disappointment were the bedrooms. We appreciated that the rooms were going to be basic with the 2 plus rating but for us it was the location of the hotel and we were basically just going to accept the simplicity but to say the double room was small is an understatement. We couldn't store anything, tripped over our suitcases and basically lived for two weeks like backpackers! Again this was to be accepted in light of the basicness of the hotel but it was upon chatting with other guests that we learned that some of the rooms were absolutely spectacular! And I mean four star loveliness when we were taken in to review them, beautiful floors, large rooms, exceptional bathrooms, it was like another hotel. So, you would epxect that these guests had paid considierably more - not all all! In fact we holidayed with Jet2 and we paid so much more for our basic room than those guests who had booked direct and one couple peak July time, had paid less than £60 a night for their luxurious double room. So quite honestly we felt pretty fed up with what we had had to put up with compared to what other guests were experiencing. Not sure, maybe booking direct was the advantage? And as for the 'family' rooms apparently they were stunning too. So you take your chance, and pot luck - we did hear that the whole hotel was undergoing ongoing refurb but for us, we missed out and it left a bitter taste in our mouths. I will say however that the hotel really is in a beautiful spot and if all the rooms had been the same, I'd return but under the circumstances of the above and how we felt pretty cheated, definitely not! One other thing, our flights were late and when we arrived no-one was up waiting for us, we had to get the Turkish Taxi driver to track down a hotel employee to check us in - this was at 2.00 am!!

Wonderful relaxing holiday. Amazing hotel and super amazing, kind and helpful staff. Alp and his team really looked after me. Special thanks to Halil, Lila, Mustafa who all work so hard to make your stay special. Great bar, great pool, beautiful gardens and awesome location on the River. Can't fault anything at all. I will be back!!!!

We have just returned from a week staying in this lovely hotel and couldn't fault it. The rooms are basic, as has been said, but they are kept very well and are spotless. Alp and all his staff are very friendly and will do anything to help you. The gardens and pool are fantastic, and it is a joy to be able to sit by the river feeding the fish and the turtles every morning. The food is very good, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. The walk into the town is pleasant alongside the river and is well lit at night.

Amazing hotel with wonderful friendly staff. I booked directly via their website - I saved money-they made more money as I know booking agents take a cut. I arrived late at night and was greeted by Alp the owner who got me settled quickly and had a most welcomed glass of delicious chilled white wine- at near midnight Alp even offered to get some food-sandwiches - so very kind and thoughtful. Great nights sleep, comfy bed, spotlessly clean simple room. Breakfast by the river watching the turtles- amazing. As a single travelling female its so important to feel safe and I'm so glad I booked here- I know I'm in good hands. No sunbed wars here!!!! plenty of beds and pool is wonderful. Bar well stocked and again wonderful staff - thank you Hallil for being awesome. I'm here for almost a month couldn't have picked a more perfect relaxing beautiful location.
