El Camino Inn

Wenn es nicht in der Nähe des Hauses meiner Tochter wäre, würde ich nie in einem Hotel mit einer so niedrigen Punktzahl übernachten. Es behauptet, ein Zwei-Sterne-Hotel in den USA zu sein, ein Drei-Sterne-Hotel in China. Nach dem Einchecken stellte ich fest, dass dies definitiv nicht der Fall war. Es ist ein Motel! Das Zimmer war überraschend klein, das Haus roch muffig, die Elektrogeräte waren kaputt und sogar die Sicherheitskette war kaputt, sodass ich einen Stuhl an die Tür stellen musste. Liebe Landsleute, bitte buchen Sie dieses Hotel nicht.

The good: The location can't be beat. Less than 1/4 mile walk to the Colma Bart station. I booked a room with one queen bed. It was a small room, but just right for one person. All sheets, towels, blankets seemed new and were perfectly clean. I inspected the bed, and the mattress and box spring were perfectly clean. The TV was a new flat panel TV, and had a good selection of channels.. Free parking right in front of the room. Wifi was good (35mb down, 15mb up). Bathroom was perfectly clean and stocked with plenty of standard soap, shampoo, and body lotion. A new coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge were also in the room. Very quiet and peaceful at night. Owners were friendly. What could be improved: The carpets - they are in dire need of replacement. They were dirty and ripped. It wasn't a big deal for me as I usually bring flip flops or slippers with me. Also, the furniture was pretty grubby, The table surfaces were clean, but the rest of the furniture had stuck on dust. Also, they use a plug in oil diffuser as an air freshener which is overwhelming for such a small room. I unplugged it as soon as I got there and opened the windows and door. After being there for 3 nights, the room was still clean smelling - the air fresheners weren't needed. They are probably causing the stuck on dust on the furnishings due to the oil residue.

The room was full of mildew, with lots of chemical scent to try to cover up the mildew smell. I went back to the office to immediately check out. Even though the room was inhabitable, they would not refund any of three night stay.
