Hotels in der Nähe von Codima Terminal, Dakar

Ich hatte ein Problem mit meinem Visum, als ich am Flughafen angekommen war, so dass ich nicht in der Lage war, den Zoll/Flughafen zu verlassen und ich informierte das Hotel, und sie weigerten mich zu helfen, die Buchung, die nur für 1 Nacht wegen Verbindungsflüge war, zu stornieren. Dann keine Unterstützung für die Kunden, so wird dieses Hotel nicht für andere Gelegenheiten berücksichtigen

In Oktober/November 2022 verbrachte es zwei Wochen mit einer großen Trainingsgruppe. Hotel ist perfekt für Geschäftstreffen. Essen ist großartig, Zimmer geräumig, Air Con Werke, Backup-Generator, schönes Schwimmbad. Betten laser und komfortabel. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfreich, besonders für uns Anglophile’s. Sie waren zweisprachig und sortierten jede Frage. Insbesondere Oumy von Konferenzdiensten und Oureye auf dem Vorderbüro

Wir hatten einen sehr entspannten Aufenthalt in diesem wunderbaren Resort direkt am Meer. Mit sehr gepflegtem Privatstrand. Schon früh morgens bringen die Boys den Beach in Ordnung, Wie überhaupt das gesamte Personal hier sehr auf Zack ist - allen voran der Reservations-Manager Monsieur Goudiaby. Er hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir abends immer eine schöne Reservierung hatten in einem der Restaurants am Meer. Und - obwohl das Hotel sehr gut gebucht war - konnten wir unser Zimmer schnell wechseln, es war direkt neben der Lounge und somit recht laut. Wir wollten auch gern einmal im Hotel-Restaurant Terrasse lunchen, aber durch Weihnachten war da immer ein grosses Team am Auf- und Umbauen, das war uns nicht relaxed genug. Zu verbessern wäre lediglich, dass am Front Desk mehr Wechselgeld bereitliegt, man auch mal einen 10.000er Schein in 1000 Scheine wechseln kann. Dann kann man die Taxifahrer präziser bezahlen und auch dem Hotel-Personal öfters mal einen Tip geben, was dies durchaus verdient hat. Highlights sind wie oben bereits erwähnt der XXL Infinity Pool. Auch wenn's am Wochenende voll wird und viele Kids im Pool sind, wird es nie stressig. Irgendwie haben die Senegalesen ihre Kinder besser erzogen als die Europäer finde ich, sie spielen friedlich miteinander und es gibt kaum Geschrei - sehr angenehm. Der Gym (gehen Sie 400 m rechts vom Hotel in ein separates Gym House) ist mit dem neuesten Technogym Equipment ausgestattet - aber nehmen Sie ein Handtuch aus dem Zimmer mit, ich habe vor Ort keine gefunden. Am liebsten hielten wir uns jedoch in den Cabanas am Beach auf. Hier kommt richtiges Urlaubsfeeling auf!

Das Hotel ist auf drei Seiten vom Meer umgeben, und der Urlaub ist sehr gut. Sie können den Sonnenaufgang am Atlantik sehen ... Hier gibt es viele Adler. Egal, ob es sich um einen kreisenden Tauchgang oder um Adler handelt, Sie werden sich mit einem besonderen Anruf an sie erinnern. Der Service ist sehr gut, das Frühstück vom Hotel ist sehr gut, der Pool ist sehr gut und der Service ist großartig

We were blown away by how nice this place was – a veritable oasis in a busy, noisy city. Very trendy and modern with a laid back vibe and African feel. The location in Ngor is great, close to many points of interest, with lots of restaurants and convenience stores located within about 5-minutes walk. The hotel staff were all great, very friendly and welcoming with good English. The rooms are all individual chalets with private courtyards set in African gardens – plenty of privacy. Our room was spacious and modern with all the amenities you’d expect – AC, coffee maker, fridge, TV, hairdryer, etc. The Wifi internet was super fast and we enjoyed the complimentary nuts and coconut cakes. Great bathroom/shower, plenty of space. Everything was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We were surprised to find a relatively well-equipped gym on site, complete with 3 good-quality cardio machines (elliptical, bike, & treadmill), a small selection of dumbbells, and a plate-loaded multigym/safety rack. Also a few benches and other odds and ends. We had some great workouts here. The pool and restaurant are very attractive and trendy. We enjoyed our excellent daily poolside a la carte breakfasts, and ate an evening meal here as well – excellent burgers! There are a few friendly felines roaming the property as well. Overall we had an amazing stay and can’t really find anything negative to say. We would love to stay here again and recommend it to other travelers.

Das Innengefüge der Zimmer ist kompakt, es fühlt sich als ein Plattenzimmer an, es ist nicht sehr isoliert, so dass es nicht viele Menschen gibt, die während der Wahlen verblieben sind, die Fenster sind geschlossen, nicht geöffnet, das Frühstück ist gut, aber das Frühstück ist im Grunde die gleiche jeden Tag

Hotels are supposed to be your home away from home, and in the 10 years I have been traveling, mostly Africa, 34 African countries, and counting, this has been true until King Fahd. My stay in each country is an average of 3 weeks. I get to know the staff and begin to feel welcome and comfortable; there are always small things, but they generally work out with the help of a willing and able staff. This hotel is convenient to work, and as its website boasts, caters to the business clientele, and has WI-FI, if I come back to Senegal, I will stay somewhere else and make do with the traffic. The housekeeping staff at King Fahd will try to accommodate you, and they do as well as possible, given the rules, but the rooms don’t get much of deep cleaning. The view can also be grand, but you have to ask specifically for a room with a view. Ms Khady Diatta at the front desk is always warm and welcoming very professional and made any front desk transaction seamless. Sadly she is but one. King Fahd is uncomfortable from the beginning, you get some help but not without having to beg for help/service from 3-4 different people. They are the most untrained “hospitality” staff I have encountered, and they will tell you what they think you want to hear, not the truth. Zero communication amongst staff. The WI-FI will not work for hours to days, but they will be surprised when you tell them it is not working if you complain to enough people; in my case, 5 people in one day. They sent two people in the AM to confirm the trouble with WI-FI, but they were not IT, and nothing came of it. I Spoke 2 times to the manager (Fatou Naiaye), 2 hours apart, and she told me they had hotspots available. I have never been more uncomfortable after interacting with a manager than with this manager, who became angry, just short of yelling at me after I tried to explain my frustration with the many things promised but unavailable in this hotel. The restaurant for breakfast is a whole other YUCK; the same wet sponge is used to “clean” the table and mat, swipe the mat, but there is a layer of forearm sweat lingering on the tables that, even after I pointed out made the server giggle and made no more effort to clean. There is no spray disinfectant for cleaning. That said, if you show up to breakfast after 7:00 AM, on my first Sunday, they haven’t rid up the tables or reset them, so you have to go look for flatware and napkins as well as a spot to eat, and they literally ask you what you are looking for!! Same breakfast food every day for three weeks. This is when I decided I couldn’t eat in there just take bananas and yogurt; I tried to leave with two pieces of bread on a plate and yogurt with a spoon to my room but was chased down by Maître ď, who took my plate and spoon, now with two pieces of bread in fist and yogurt back to the room. Apparently, the restaurant manager will not allow flatware or plates/bowls to leave unless it is room service. The rooms are musty and damp, even th
