Travelodge Merthyr Tydfil Hotel

Excellent service especially by Lela (?) the lady at the front desk. So accommodating and friendly and welcoming and a great reason to stay there! The room was clean, the lift quick, the location excellent and close to everything we needed. And…..did we mention Lela? We hope we spelled her name correctly? It was a little like being back home and she treated us like we’d known her for a long time, sharing a bit of her family and the area in Merthyr Tydfil……a definite asset to your hotel chain. And…..by the way, we’re not related to her……but she is a keeper and deserves a BIG RAISE! Don’t lose people like her…….she’ll be too hard to replace and a main reason if ever again inn MT will stay at Travelodge once again.

the staff were great in assisting me with a room allocation and help getting in . the place was spotless and realy well ventilated . the bed was great with good quality pillows . we will be returning in september for another 3 days and again next easter

I needed a document printing for work which I received at the last minute and Sophie was more than happy to help and print it for me. A male (can’t recall name - sorry) delivered it to my room too. Very happy with the service and will stay again when in the area. Thank you :)

Not much parking available in front of the hotel, but luckily there is a substantial parking area, but a short distance away. But otherwise the hotel was clean, comfortable and friendly.

Good hotel to stay in but don’t expect to sleep in as the cleaners play loud music and there is not a lot of parking outside.
