This is a nice, modern boutique small hotel in a nice neighbourhood with a few decent restaurants within a 10 min walk. We booked the Magnum room for 5 nights which was modern, clean and quiet at the rear of the property with very good aircon. The bathrooms are spacious with powerful showers. A few more coathangers in the wardrobes would be useful. We did not like the refillable ceramic bottles of shampoo, body lotion and conditioner. They were heavy to use, had no lids and the quality of the products mediocre. There us a small gym, restaurant but no bar. Drinks are served in the restaurant. The cocktails are excellent. Breakfast is included in the rate and is fine but would benefit from having croissants/viennoserie on offer as cake for breakfast is not usually eaten outside of Brazil. A better choice of cereal would be good as they are all commercially made and too sweet for Europeans. If you are looking for some activities we can recommend the cycle tours from Pedro at Xtreme travel as we took 3 of these. A very nice, well managed hotel with good staff.

Excepcional. Hotel maravilhoso. Quem reclama aqui, reclama por por pouca coisa ou quer hotel de luxo por uma tarifa inferior. Tudo no hotel é maravilhoso, limpo e quarto espaçoso. As instalações são novas, com excessão ao carpet dia corredores. Café da manhã muito bom.

I booked into this hotel because it is where the event I was attending was being hosted, my loyalty brand of choice does not have properties in this city, and because it was my first time in the city. Take this review with a grain of salt, I am North American and I travel often and stay in large chain hotels. My expectations may be too high. First, the pros; - well located (great restaurants, shopping, and activities close by) - excellent water pressure and temperature - the really important things are clean (sheets, towels, and toilets) - beautiful lobby The cons: - booked a deluxe queen room (one level up from the bottom category), and the “soaker tub” is a mess, cracking from the wall and the finish is peeling off leaving blue and beige marks. I wore my flip flops to shower - scuff/dirt marks on room walls and doors - no mattress protecter (eww) - the toilets do not have enough pressure to flush anything but liquid. I know I should be disposing of toilet paper in garbages, but habits are hard to break and if you accidentally drop it into the toilet you get to look at it for the remainder of your stay. - front desk is completely unconcerned about the points raised above and just shrugged. It was pointed out to me, “as you know” (no, I didn’t know) that they are completely sold out so no options to move to a different room. - my room (1508) looks like they ran out of money while “refurbishing”. Carpet still there and bathroom fixtures appear to be original, thus old and tired. - motion sensors in the hallway (cool, energy saving) that take some time to turn on leaving you wandering in the dark. Made me feel unsafe - two elevators and when an event is being held or check in/out times you will wait, and wait, and wait. When I come back, I will be checking out other options to see if I can find a property that is in good repair and the rooms match the lobby. I am definitely counting down the hours until I check out and move on to another property.

No primeiro momento iria reservar pela booking pra esse sábado dia 04/05 mas queria cama casal e só tinha twin disponível, fui pessoalmente pra ver senão tinha direto no balcão casal ou se dava pra juntar camas. Realmente não havia camas casal e até iamos embora mas o atendimento da recepcionista do período da tarde foi tão bom, mas tão bom que ficamos mesmo assim. Alias, todos os funcionários sem exceção atendem muito bem. No café da manhã deu pra notar a maior delicadeza e atenção em repor logo o que faltava, em perguntar se eu precisava de algo quando ficava meio perdido ali no buffet. O quarto era super confortável, apesar de ser um pouco antigo era muito limpinho, organizado e com uma vista muito boa. Super silenciosa a região. Nada a reclamar, espetacular o atendimento mesmo. Pessoal pelo que percebi trabalham com uma ótima gestão. Diferente do atendimento que tive no Dan Inn no mesmo dia que desisti da reserva de lá que iria pagar até menos por conta da péssima postura da recepcionista. Parabéns ao hotel pelo conforto e atendimento.
