Quiet, clean, friendly/competent staff. AND could not be more convenient. Food is pretty good which is important since it is a (short) drive to a restaurant. However, I also used Uber Eats and that worked well.

Meine erste Reise nach Maine war erstaunlich. Dieses Hotel war schön. Ich verstehe, es wurde vor weniger als einem Jahr eröffnet. Die Lobby war schön, kostenloses Frühstück und eine Nachtfreude mit Getränken und Essen. Gymnastik- und Waschbecken sowie Wasser-/Eisversorgung im ganzen Hotel. Das Zimmer war schön und so gut ausgeführt. Es war offensichtlich, dass die Designer dieses Raums die Bedeutung der Maximierung des Raums verstehen. Es war eines der wenigen Hotels, die keine Alarmklopfen hatten, die in diesen Tagen so redundant ist. Hatte ein Zimmer mit 2 Betten, sehr weich und geräumig. 3 Nächte stehen, Küchenbereich, geräumiges Badezimmer, großer Schrank, Deskspace ...wirklich, es war ein perfekter Aufenthalt. 10 Minuten zum Stadtzentrum von Portland!

My wife and I came to Portland Maine to visit family. We stayed at the Sheraton Sable Oaks and we were very pleased we did. I would like to thank Chris Merriam Exec Chef for his kind and generous hospitality. What a gentleman! Meg Poulin Sales Manager happened to come by our table just to say hello. Imagine that? And Suzie our waitress took very good care us. Through our conversations we determined that between the three of these wonderful people there was over 90 years of hospitality expeience at this single property. Can you imagine? That ”is” the testament of this matchless property. We...will...be staying there again. Thank you all

I think after 20 stays over the past 8 years, I should write a review. I travel mainly for business although the hotel is used more for family vacations. As far as I know, it is the only hotel in the downtown Portland area with a kitchenette which is the obvious major advantage. Another major plus is the location. While the hotel is on the popular waterfront, it is on the Eastern edge. Parking is less difficult on the street and also, you feel less like you are in a less congested area. The Eastern promenade is a block away where there is a great jogging and walking path. The final issue that sets this hotel apart from others is the front staff. They are incredibly accommodating, friendly, and cheerful. This has been a pattern for the past few years, and I am not quite sure how they attract and keep such good staff. It can make all the difference for your stay. Finally, if you want to know anything about Maine, bartender Greg will fill you in!

Es gibt Zugspuren direkt draußen entlang einer ganzen Seite des Hotels. Eine ganze Seite der Zimmer sind gegen sie. Ein Güterzug ging um 2:20 Uhr und erwachte das ganze Zimmer. Ein weiterer Zug ging um 7 Uhr. Zimmer sind sauber, weshalb ich ihm einen zweiten Stern gegeben habe. Personal ist nicht groß. Riesige Linie zu checken. Drei Menschen hinter dem Zähler. Einen Check-in und die anderen zwei buchstäblich dort nur sprechen. Garden Inn gibt Ihnen entweder Frühstück oder 750 Punkte mit Ihrem Aufenthalt. Die Frauen Check-in und fragte mich nicht. Ich bat sie, mich für die Punkte zu stellen, sagte sie kommt morgens. Ich bin ein Diamant-Mitglied und fragte über das kostenlose WiFi. Die Frauen sagten, sie hätte es nie gehört. Nur eine ganze Katastrophe. Hilton muss ihr Spiel in Freeport erhöhen, weil ich nicht zurück zu diesem Ort.

Ist ein toller Ort für Entspannung sehr sauber und angenehm die Zimmer sind sauber die einzige Zeit, die wir nicht im Badezimmer war nur ein Gesichtskleid 2 Handtücher und 1 Handtücher und keine Kunststoffbeutel in der Müll kann anders als dass es ein sehr schöner Ort zu haben Gegen

We stayed at the Homewood Suites (Scarborough) as part of a sports group. I checked in online the day before and my room was ready by midday. When I arrived I was given keys to the room and made my way to the room. Most of the hotel staff went above and beyond for our group. We had an early morning game and the breakfast staff came in an hour early to have breakfast prepared for us. Amazing! The rooms were clean and had all of the amentines needed to cook meals if we needed to. Having a full size referigerator is great. Beds were comfortable. And for all of those who need a fan at night, there is a ceiling fan. I was so excited! Like I mentioned, breakfast staff was wonderful. They offered eggs, bacon as well as bagels, yogurts and more. Sue at the front desk really made the group feel welcomed. And would do anything she could for us. Thanks for making our stay great!

My wife and I stayed for one night at the Hampton Inn Portland Downtown - Waterfront at the end of September 2024. Overall, this is a nice version of a Hampton Inn, offering a comfortable mid-range stay. The location is excellent, right near where the cruise ships dock and in the heart of the Waterfront district. The hotel and public areas were clean, and we had no issues with the prompt check-in process—no wait at all! Our room was clean and cozy, exactly what you would expect. The only small drawback was the lack of a TV guide or channel list, which made navigating the TV a bit of a hassle. Other than that, we had a pleasant experience.
