The self-catering unit was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. I especially appreciated the privacy, the tranquil atmosphere, and the attention to detail that made the experience feel both relaxing and memorable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the overall environment was safe, well-maintained, and incredibly enjoyable. "This was my 3rd time going to Kieviets and everytime, it becomes better and better, and our stay is such a royal treatment. This wine estate is such a peaceful and relaxed place. The Granita fine dining restaurant is thee place to eat. I always take 11 coarse menu, the chef always excels and exceeds her expectations everytime with her menus. The breakfast is too die for. A full spread of everything. Fresh, delicious and oh so tasty to perfection. The spa with all of its pools, saunas, jacuzzi, steam bath, cold pool and the multi-shower head shower, is everything and you dont want to leave the place. Kieviets Kroon is the place to be, for the young at heart and to the more experienced seniors. We love this place and to all the management staff, reception staff, executive cleaning staff, chefs, waitresses, just about every employee are just so special and blessed. Thank you Kieviets Kroon for a 10-Star treatment. You deserve 2 more stars to your honorable status."

"We stayed at this hotel on 6 April 2026 for one night and it was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. Firstly, the air conditioning in the room did not work at all. The room felt like an oven, making it extremely uncomfortable to stay in, especially after a long day of travelling. To make matters worse, the sliding door could not open, so there was no ventilation whatsoever. The television was not working, and there was no fridge in the room, which is something you would reasonably expect from a hotel. When we asked for ice, we were told we would have to pay R30 just for an ice bucket – unbelievable, considering the R1 678 we paid for the one-night stay. Another issue was that there was no hot water because the geysers in our block was off. This meant we could not even shower. Maintenance came to the room and confirmed all the faults, so these were clearly known issues. Reception then offered to move us to another room, but by that time it was too late – my son had already fallen asleep on the bed without being able to shower after a long day. Overall, this was a horrible experience and extremely disappointing. The room was clearly not properly checked or maintained before guests arrived. We will never book with this hotel again and would strongly advise others to reconsider before staying here."
