"Das im Wald gelegene Hotel bietet eine schöne Aussicht, die Ausstattung ist jedoch etwas veraltet. Die Warm- und Kaltwasserhähne der Spüle sind getrennt, sodass das Warmwasser kochend heiß und das Kaltwasser eiskalt ist. Im vierten Stock befinden sich die Freizeiteinrichtungen. Wir trafen eine Reisegruppe älterer Leute, die Karten und Billard spielten. Wir bestellten eine Pizza, die recht gut war und dem chinesischen Gaumen entsprach."

"We had a good night in the hostel having taken the lovely train journey from Glasgow before a day walking the west highland way with family. The woman at reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We chose to have a 4 bedded room for the 2 of us, so it was not that cheap but worth it for a relaxed night sleep and some privacy. There was a washbasin in the room, but it was not ensuite. The toilets/showers were clean and pleasant. There was a good breakfast - we helped ourselves and washed up afterwards. Good value. There is a pleasant, comfortable sitting room which would have a wood fire in winter. The hostel is well situated, very near the station and handy for 3 eating places."

"As the house was fully booked we had the little s/c cottage for the night. John gave us a warm welcome before showing us our accommodation for the night. No frills but fully equipped and spotless with a very comfortable bed and sofa. Only slight downside was that the shower and wc were downstairs, not so good at night for the ancient! But then we were very fortunate to be there. Into the house for breakfast, Red Squirrels skipping off in all directions before we reached the door. John sat us down, his usual cheerful self, to a delicious breakfast, made even more interesting by Coal Tits and the returned Red Squirrels feasting on theirs' at the window. I like Inverardran and John very much, the cooked breakfasts are superb, the position is beautiful among the mountains and conveniently situated just off the A82 North - South road. Other guests at breakfast with us were walking the West Highland Way, so convenient for the energetic too. I very much hope to return next year."

"Came as guests...left as friends If your looking for a warm genuine welcome where nothing is too much trouble then look no further, other than to make a note of their number. We have been to many hotels and guests houses during our lifetime, however never met a couple's hosting ability like Veronica and Collins. From the moment their door opens you are greeted with 2 beaming smiles and a warm welcome. On entering you are instantly taken care of which is really appreciated after a long drive. You are shown and orientated to your room with all the important features highlighted such as breakfast room and menus, ensuite bathroom and refreshments all of which allows you to relax and start to unwind, just like you would if you were kicking back at home. Both Veronica and Collin have extensive knowledge of the area and share it generously with you. They intuitively direct you to what restaurants are available that evening, which is extremely valuable especially towards the end of the season. Even though you could be staying in a full guesthouse, the experience Veronica and Collin provides you with makes you feel like your the only ones there. You almost feel surprised in seeing other guests at breakfast. This must be because the other guests are so well catered for (by the hosts) you just don't hear them until you see them at breakfast the next day. We have had the pleasure in coming to Craig Bank Guest house for a number of years now and Veronicas and Collins consistent high standards in every aspect of hospitality means we have found our 'traveling home'. We know that in spending a night here we are guaranteed a good night's sleep, waking up feeling refreshed, washed with a full tum ready for the onward journey. Veronica and Collin are an amazing duo who take such pride in their work and genuinely care about your stay. Other establishments both large and small could learn alot from these guys as they seam to get a lot of repeat custom, which suggests to me it's in how they execute their delivery...leaving people wanting more. Nevermind X factor these people have the 'Unique Factor' thank you both for the most amazing stays and we will look forward to many more in our 'traveling home'."
