Crescent Head Holiday Park

Would give half a star if I could. Location is great, but overcrowded. Front office staff are the most unhelpful, rudest bunch of people you will ever have the displeasure of meeting. Have been going here for years and needs to put the cleaners through the current management.

The location is fantastic. Great beaches for walking, fishing, surfing. Safe swimming for everyone in the river. Incredibly beautiful spot Staff need training in customer service. Arrived 29th Feb 2024, I went into the office to check in around lunch time, the 2 female staff were both on the phone, a young lady finished her call and then served me. She obviously did not want to be there, had a serious attitude problem, I could only understand half of what she mumbled, we guessed the other half after we set up. I was made to feel unwelcome and a hinderance. Both girls were not helpful. I ran my business for over 20 years, and if my staff treated my customers this way, they would NOT be with me for very long. Amenities are disappointing, the toilets are old, but clean, the park is run down and long over due for a refit. Staff must remember that the a lot of the people they are rude and dismissive too have done the hard yards, and probably know a thing or two. We should not be treated this way, after all with no travelers staff have no job.

We had a 2 night stay in cabin 23 at this site. The unit was faultless, very clean, well maintained and comfortable. The manners of the staff could be improved as they were a little off hand with me and brusque with my genuine enquiries. The only drawback to our stay is that our second vehicle was not permitted into the park. We had to park in this small car park in the town of Crescent Head. Thankfully our car was not damaged . Yes, I would stay again as the location id excellent.
