Hotel Dreams de la Patagonia

The beds are too small. All the rest is ok. Two single beds on the room. Double beds this days use queen size beds. You can not move on a single bed……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..,,

The hotel is fine and well located. The food and rooms are good. However, at least the floor I stayed on, which was the third, was very noisy. It must be because it’s the floor where people take the elevator for breakfast. In general, there was a lot of noise in the hallway. I suggest choosing a room on a higher floor. The staff was friendly.

We stayed only for one night on a Patagonia trip coming from the North and continuing to the South. Actually we were not interested in the adjacent casino, but were attracted by the high ratings. We can only recommend staying in the hotel. We probably had the best hotel rooms since we left Buenos Aires: large clean and modern, a large modern bathroom, fast internet. Very conveniently the hotel has a decent restaurant with a buffet or a la carte dishes. While the service at the reception was English speaking, it wasn’t in the restaurant, but we still got our food.

I stayed in the hotel because of work. The bed was comfy, the AC was what I expect and the bathroom was really comfortable too, loved the shower and bath. Also breakfast service had everything I like to eat to start the day, I would only improve the bread because it wasn't the best for me. Also I only had one problem but it was sorted out very quickly, sadly the rooms in the 2nd floor aren't very private, people walk outside on the street in one side and on the parking lot in the other one, so the very first 30 minutes I stayed in the room I made eye contact with like 3 people, but when I called the lobby they quickly moved me to another one in the 3rd floor and I'm very thankful for that. Overall it was a really good experience and the staff is incredibly nice.

This hotel is well appointed and has good rooms, but the staff are either disinterest or bordering on the rude. The cooked breakfast was disgusting… completely burnt bacon and totally uncooked scrambled egg. Also. And ridiculous for this class and price, no decent coffee. There are now good new apartments opening for single night access (and up) at much lower prices and so Dreams Patagonia will have to start getting its act together.

This place was good once upon a time, but they have completely lost the plot. Awful dinner, even worse breakfast, disinterested service and a criminal payment policy. As foreigners, we shouldn’t have to pay tax, but we were forced to pay in US dollars (we are not from the USA) at the hotel’s exorbitant exchange rate. They refused to accept Chilean pesos despite giving all their prices in that currency.
