Anchor Belle Holiday Park

Amy at the Anchor Belle Holiday Park gave us a very warm welcome to Phillip Island. Our group of 23 loved the park’s facilities and our complimentary pack of wine, dips & biscuits. The camp kitchen had all the facilities we needed for a great stay. We’d purchased the Phillip Island 3 Parks Pass which was great value. Churchill Island was very interesting with its historical displays & activities & we loved the koalas and the evening penguin parade. Thank you Anchor Belle & Phillip Island for a wonderful stay.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful few days away and enjoyed our stay. It was clean, comfortable and well located. The facilities were perfect for our young family. The pool is a little old and tired but didn’t faze our boys. Friendly people and staff. Would definitely visit again.

We had a powered site over the weekend and we had such a great time. The amenities were clean, the park is safe for kids. There is plenty to occupy young kids. The staff were friendly and helpful. And the beach was so close! A great option and will definitely return!

We have family at Philip Island so we often go over and stay. We left it too late this year to go to any of our regular caravan parks and this was the only caravan park that had availability. Now I know why they still had availability even at the busiest time of the year. It is way too far out of town, if you have young kids it is definitely not walking distance into town, and the staff were awful! We were camping and booked powered sites (one of the sites actually had no power). When we arrived, we were an hour early but as we only booked camping sites didn't think it would be an issue. While one lady on the desk was friendly, the other lady stood in the background and commented 'It was her she wouldn't check us in'. Thought that was an odd way to greet guests. That was a glimpse of what was to come. She was uptight, unapproachable, unfriendly, and just plain rude. It is a family fun park, but the family that run it are all as bad as each other. I am not a keyboard warrior, I don't take giving bad reviews lightly, in fact I have never left one before, but this was the worst experience I have had in my life. Do not stay here.

We stayed week. My friends and I think the staff are fantastic. This year we purchased one of their cheese platters which they made on site. They also have a barista for that nice morning coffee. It's quiet and everyone is friendly and respectful. Definitely we will back.

Great caravan park. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin. Was comfortable and suited our needs. Nice and close to the beach via a track straight out the back of the park and not far from town. Jumping pillow good for the kids. Water pressure in the shower wasn't the best and struggled to rinse the sand off but we managed. Would stay again.
