I've stayed here once before, so I had an idea of what to expect. It's not the finest of hotels, but its not the shabbiest either. The room I had was clean and comfortable, although when I stayed it was extremely hot. This of course is not the hotel's problem, but I was in a room at the front of the hotel, so with the window open, and the main road about 75 meters away, with no air conditioning or fans provided, it was quite noisy. I also experienced some noise from other residents later on in the evening chatting noisly in the seating area beneath my bedroom window. I had a bite to eat in the bar area, which was distinctly very average at best. Not an extensive menu, but that's not a problem. Although not inedible, the burger I had was dry and not all that appetising. No-one came to ask me if it was OK either. Would I stay here agin? Possibly yes, but I would also scout around the area for alternatives first.

Perfekt und komfortabel für einen einnachtigen Aufenthalt. Lage direkt neben der Autobahn und das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig. £5 Parkplatz schmerzhaft in aller Ehrlichkeit, aber empfehlen Sie dieses Hotel.

Bei der Ankunft hatte ich große Vorbehalte zu dem, was ich gebucht hatte. Die Fotos auf der Buchungsstelle waren nichts wie das, was ich sah. Der Park war nealri-Rubbel und die umliegenden Flächen wurden schlecht gepflegt. Die Rezeption war in Aussehen ziemlich groß, aber das ist der einzige gute Punkt, den dieses Hotel für sie geleitet hat. Für die Größe des Ortes gibt es kaum Personal. Das Zimmer, das ich reserviert hatte, war jetzt nicht verfügbar, so angesichts eines anderen. Auf der Straße war ich auf dem Teppich in Steinen geflogen, absolut gefülltes Zimmer war sehr gefüllt und die Möbel waren eine Sammlung von zufälligen Biten, unser Kaffeetisch fehlte ein Bein und wurde von einem Stuhl gegossen. Einige alte 5 Pin-Plug-Sockets an den Betten für die Lampen. Bar-Bereich war auch im Aussehen müde, obwohl das Personal sehr freundlich war. Der ganze Ort braucht eine große Umstellung.

Ich habe dieses Hotel seit Jahren besucht und habe insgesamt eine sehr notwendige Verbesserung sowohl im Personal als auch im Ausstattungsbereich gesehen. Der runde, laute, schreiende Mann, der betrügerisch Personal (auch wenn die Gäste vorbei gingen) ist lange weg (Hure!). Das aktuelle Personal, von der FoH bis zum Service des Personals, ist jung, graciös, lächelnd und gut gemütlich. Jetzt Post COVID (Oktober 2022), Zimmerservicemenü sind im Zimmer und es die öffentlichen Bereiche, ein sehr notwendiger und verpasster Service, vor allem wenn der Gast nicht in der Lage ist, im Restaurant zum Mittagessen zu buchen (oder unerwartet Hunger genommen hat) Frühstücke waren angemessen und füllen, meine Abendessenmenü waren kurz, aber die anständigen Optionen waren schnell und gut. Ein kleiner Witz ist, dass einige der Lieferanten etwas höher sein müssen, vor allem an meiner 2. Nacht hatten wir beide einen Tisch von 10 höher als notwendig, röhlich, betrunkenen Gästen. Keiner hat Schuld, mehr Vertrauen in das Eigentum des Zimmers. Während noch immer ausreichend dunkel im Allgemeinen, habe ich festgestellt, dass die Beleuchtung viel verbessert hat (vergangen sind die Empfangstage zu dunkel, um den Mitarbeiter zu sehen, bis sie bei dir waren!) Ich verstehe, dass das ein gelistetes Gebäude ist, (Grade2?). so kann nur so viele Änderungen gemacht werden. Ich hätte persönlich mit einigen mehr Railings gemacht, aber ob das möglich ist, ist fast Moot. Zurzeit ist es ein definitives Problem für mich. Es gibt mindestens 1 Tour, die ich vermieden, aber zumindest gab es eine Bekanntmachung von ”schärfen Schritten”, was immer noch ein ”me Problem” ist. Eine allgemeine Haustiere Pet Peve von mir (nicht beschränkt auf Coombe Abbey) ist die Anforderung von Restaurants, mindestens 2 Personen zu buchen. (Gott verbot jemand wäre hier unbegleitet!). Ich konnte mit dem Buchungspersonal vor der Hand arbeiten, und jeder war wunderschön. Glücklicherweise sind die Zimmer hier pro Zimmer, nicht pro Person preis Mein Zimmer war groß, sauber und gemütlich. Nachdem ich an Hotels gewöhnt war, die in der Regel keine Hausaufbewahrung während eines Aufenthalts, war ich froh überrascht, dass es während dieses Aufenthalts wieder war, einschließlich des Bettes gemacht wurde (entschuldigen Sie die Hausaufbewahrung, wenn mein Zimmer messier als normaler Mitte des Aufenthalts!)

Stayed for a couple of days whilst we visited local historical sites. Room was excellent as was the pool and general facilities. Was surprised the bar evening menu is the same as the main restaurant - seems little point in not availing oneself of the restaurant since it is much nicer and costs nothing more! Many thanks to the bar staff (who sang happy birthday) and Rieann and Ionda in the restaurant for their friendly service.

Wow! Ist alles, was ich sagen kann! Wir haben im Dezember 2022 im Hotel Manor in Meriden verheiratet und es war der perfekte Tag. Liridona Tahiri war unser Hochzeitsplaner. Seine Reaktion und Aufmerksamkeit auf Details war hervorragend. Sie fühlte sich nie so unglaublich oder unwichtig, und beantwortete immer meine E-Mails rechtzeitig. Sie war näher zugänglich und freundlich und hatte immer Zeit, auf jede Besorgnis zu hören. Aufgrund ihrer Zeit gingen wir wirklich reibungslos. Alle Mitarbeiter am Tag waren so untergebracht. Sie gingen aus dem Weg, um sicherzustellen, dass die Hochzeitsparty glücklich war und sie hatten alles, was sie brauchten. Nichts war zu viel Problem. Ich möchte nur sagen, wenn Sie Ihre Hochzeit buchen, würde ich das Team bei The Manor 100% empfehlen. Unsere Gäste sagen uns immer noch, was eine tolle Hochzeit wir hatten. Sie können vollkommen zuversichtlich sein, dass das Team bei The Manor auf Ihrer Seite ist. Selbst wenn unsere sterblichen Gäste nicht bereit waren, um 2 Uhr zu schlafen, waren die Mitarbeiter noch wunderschön darüber. Danke für uns einen Tag zu erinnern. xx

We booked this hotel last minute after having to make changes to our trip to the NEC. Not fancying a glamping pod, we booked a room and were allocated the honeymoon suite. The hotel was very clean throughout and you could smell the cleaning products as soon as you walked in, indicating the cleaners had been in doing a thorough job. Staff were lovely and friendly and let us check in an hour early as the room was ready when we arrived at 2pm. Free parking is provided and I could see my car from the window of our room. The location is good and site was nice and quiet, despite having an events centre next door. There isn’t much within walking distance however there’s a bar and restaurant on site to cater for your needs. There’s also free wifi however our mobile signals were absolutely fine so we had no reason to make use of it on this occasion. Jacuzzi in the room was a nice touch and big enough to fit two people in. Was delighted to find out that a complimentary breakfast was included the following morning, and not too early either, starting at 9am. Sunday check out at 11am was ideal without us having to rush. As pleasant as the hotel is, it needs a fair bit of work. It’s very dated and tired looking. It’s creaky and old and is in need of a bit of a restoration, more than just a lick of paint here and there. The walls are paper thin, as I was lying in bed I could hear the person in the next room using the toilet - I won’t get graphic but let me just say I could hear everything as though I was in the room with them. One of the windows in our room wouldn’t shut at all, which wasn’t a massive issue as the weather wasn’t too bad, but during colder months this would’ve been impossible to sleep through. The old wooden frames were warped and you couldn’t even put it on the latch as the metal lever had snapped. There was no hot water for the shower so we were forced to take a cool shower. Not the end of the world but a bit inconvenient. My wife also pointed out that there was nowhere for her to get ready and do her makeup. The room is more than big enough to fit a dressing table in and this would’ve saved her sitting on the floor in front of the mirror to do her hair and makeup. It’s also pricey compared to local competitors. Breakfast was okay but lacking a few basics - no hash brown or black pudding. It would also benefit from a variety of options such as fresh fruit and yogurt. On the whole it was a nice experience but I’d only stay here again if I couldn’t get in anywhere else OR if it was modernised and updated throughout.
