Springview House

this felt like a home away from home with a familiar twist. Lovely friendly couple in an old quaint house on a working farm. I woke up to the sound of cows bellowing in the meadows and birds chirping in the trees. The rooms are all en suite and although one would not describe the rooms as modern, they were clean and in keeping with the antique feel of the house, which I gather is from the 1700s. The breakfast and the hosts were the highlight for me. The couple could not have been more considerate, friendly and accommodating and as for the breakfast, wel,l it is defintely one of the finest I have enjoyed in my many years of B and B travel. I loved that there was one big table for all the guests to sit at, rather than the traditional small separate tables. It was lovely to interact with the other international guests. Ample parking and easy access to local towns. Excellent value for money too.

I cannot say enough about this wonderful B&B. My favorite on our entire trip. Eileen made us feel like we were home. She offered us tea and scones after we were settled in. Delicious! We had such a wonderful chat. This is a working farm and was very interesting to hear about. The breakfast table was set beautifully with lovely china. We were given options and everything was so tasty. Beautiful room and very comfortable and spacious as was the bathroom. 5 star all the way!
